A few points I think people are missing ( and one that I may be wrong about):
1. Ed and Erica are in a open relationship ( Ed has agreed to pushing the boundaries very far, so cheating is hard to define for them.)
2. Ruffo and Juliet are also in a open relationship (Juliet tells Erica this in the bathroom scene)
3. Juliet's relationship with Ruffo is contingent on him developing into a nice person.
4. Erica has demonstrated she always remains in control even in dynamic relationship shifts and changing boundaries. And she always gets Edwards buy-in.
5. When relationship boundaries change, new rules come into play and things are lost (there's always a loss in something)
6. The Dev said "no blackmail" (I believe that is up in the thread somewhere)

It's true that each person has their own personality and therefore the variants change, but here we go from sun to moon, in two seconds, here he shortened the time, while with Diego it took months to get to the point, with Ruffo, the worst is already on the horizon, therefore, leaving aside the blackmail, you still think that a dominant person would let himself be convinced by Erica, for school or something else, Ruffo, holds the upper hand, and even worse, this would definitively destroy Diego's trust, therefore, all wasted time, Ruffo has the opportunity to subjugate all three, in a serious logic, if I were him, at that moment, I would feel like the master of that house. If Diego is getting replaced I don't want to play anymore, the reason I played is because it was unique, with them helping him grow along the way, Erica and Diego's relationship was even sweet and even a little romantic sometimes, if you're going to replace him with the standard bull template it will just become yet another NTR/NTS game without anything to set it apart from the rest.

I think the story will start and end with Diego homie seems like the dev wants to move onto a new game which is fine. I feel like they've hit almost every experience they've wanted to hit from the get go. But we'll see what happens with Ruff

It's easy to satisfy both sides. I mean, this is a visual novel. The dev could just make two endings and let people choose their own canon. One where Erica starts experimenting more with sharing, falls too far, and ends up divorcing Edward in the process. The other is where she's more careful about removing feelings from the sharing and stays totally loyal to her husband while still exploring his kink. After all, isn't that the whole point of visual novels? Unless the dev wants to keep the story going forever, having two endings wouldn't ruin it for anyone.

But since a lot of the early teasing with Diego felt rushed just to get to a sex scene, I don't see how just adding more sex scenes with him and nothing else won't make the game get stale if there's a season 2.

Eh it’s called “Netorase Obsession” and the dev has also said there will be no NTR in the game. So it’ll just be on the one path it’s set up to be.

Second part is kinda the whole crux of what we’ve been theorizing. Where the story is going to go. From what it’s been shown, Diego is probably out soon here and Ruffalo might be a contender but it’s left to be seen. I’m hoping not and there’s a good moment in the game where she rejects his ass but I hope their relationship doesn’t go back to normal. Hope Erica and Juliet can have one scene together tho

After all, isn't that the whole point of visual novels?

Kind of beside the point of the overall discussion but the point of VNs is just that they're a different medium. The fact that you can have branching storylines doesn't mean you have to have them, or even should, depending on the story you're trying to tell. Some stories are best linear. I think for this story it would be exceedingly out of character if it offered a hard NTR ending like you describe.

Well I think Diego can and will turn up to be something like that. He already has a big cock, Erica is training him physically as we have already seen, his personality gets more and more dominant throughout the story so we have plenty of reasons to believe that he will turn into a "bull" archetype.
