I finally finished the game, and I’m genuinely impressed. It also got me horny, which is rare for me since I usually think of myself as pretty lame. I’m not sure what the debate around NTR and NTS is all about. I kinda get what those terms mean, but it fascinates me how fixated people are on them. I literally have no issues with the game, and then it got updated, and I was like… why? I played it and noticed the changes, but honestly, they felt unnecessary in my opinion. Any reasonable person can see where things are headed, and at the end of the day, the dev’s job is to mess with us a bit, right?
That said, I’m fascinated by the tech and AI. People might think it’s easy work, but it’s really not. AI is like a different kind of art, right? As I said, it’s fascinating. Keep up the great work, my friends. Also,just my pref... the SoA story is better because I just hate reality… it’s boring and SoA kinda brings fun into the play... but thats not here or there... aaanyway ;P

To answer the writing part, because I generally agree with the rest of what you said, it was just to make where she's at now more consistent. That's why I called it out, has nothing to do with where she's going, which as you said at least regarding both Rob and Eric is fairly obvious. I would have personally made the same critique though if she suddenly said those things to Eric at this point too. For me it had nothing to do with whether it was NTR or whatever (I've already explained why I don't think so, but I agree that many are overly obsessed with exact genre obsessions) but rather taking me out of the moment because of how abrupt the shift in tone was from one moment to the next. It's porn but you know, you want some level of plausibility.
Doesn't matter if the scene is NTS/NTR/reclamation/harem/whatever I'll always question if it fits the characters motives and role at that time, even if I myself want the scene in question to happen. I would say I simply like consistency
.One of the nice things about CG's writing thus far is that even though it has pornographic exaggeration obviously, the characters are internally consistent. Their motivations and path going from point A to B to C. But if even if all know that the path ends at F if D is skipped then that internal consistency is lost and the story is worse for it. That's why I made the critique I did (I have no clue if the change had anything to do with my critique or just overall feedback, of which there was a lot).I did a little bit of writing for SoA, shits super difficult, easily the hardest part of the whole thing at least for me personally. So you know, mistakes happen and I think it's fine to point those out. Eric and Anya are now going on a shopping trip, if Anya suddenly tells Eric she wants to fuck him in the changing room stall I'd also call out that for bad writing (even though it's a scene I'd very much like to see! it's simply too soon for her to be that bold). Call me the no fun police (Doshima certainly does in SoA dev chat
) but I do care about plot development and character writing. If I didn't I wouldn't bother with VN's, I'd be spending that time on pornhub.FAX!

And yes, I totally agree 'natural' progression means a lot. I think consistency and the ability to relate to the characters are what really sells the story. This game strikes a perfect balance between 'porny' and 'realism' while still focusing on character development, and I love that. And if it means that either this or that 'tag' makes sense in a particular situation, then so be it. It's great storytelling, also I love that we have two characters like Maki an Ari that are a bit unpredictable and are complete nymphomaniacs, that can spice things up and build up the scene if needed
Oh so you are on the writing of SoA as well? I initially thought you were more on the art department side. I don’t want to dwell on it too much in another game’s thread tho. It’s a super difficult task to craft a compelling story. Speaking from experience , I know exactly what you mean. The project is in good hands.
PS. Do we get to see more of Andrea's cake? That girl has urges that need to be taken care of. And I think Alice would agree

i love the artstyle of the game and the tease of the girls but i hate the dominant, degrading way the MC treats his girlfriend during sex and calling her slut all the time.

I mean the "punishing your gf for being a slut who wants to bang other guys" is kinda the whole point of this type of NTS game.
most NTS games either MC punishes his partner for being a "slut" or the FMC femdoms him into being cucked, if there's neither of them the story lacks any drama or intrigue
yeah you´re right, i just never played (or seen) a game where it´s the first matter so i was wondering.
i´d definitely prefer the femdom thing, so i was hoping it kind of would come out that way or just gives a possibility for this because i saw on recent posts people complaining about all this bbc stuff and i thought maybe the story changes at some point.
