Nope. The developer got COVID a couple days ago (COVID in 2024 OMEGALUL), so I guess he's too busy licking hand rails instead of writing changelogs.
Covid is still a thing, not like it vanished. That said, I'd say he's busy working on the next update considering there's already devblogs and teasers for it. Much prefer that over a changelog here.

I mean I have a German friend who was sick for over a week from actual COVID and they're young not old so yeah could be COVID still, it depend on one's immunity and the vaccine he took before

Wow, somebody that was mentioned got COVID and it's not vanished? Are you sure? I don't believe you.

Also, sure, you can prefer whatever you want, buddy. I'd say the point that was made in the comment I replied to is equally valid though. Especially, y'know, on this particular website.

Your original comment sounded like you're trying to say he's lying. I get that there's a bunch of devs who've been in very questionable conditions over the years so I understand the scepticism, which is why I pointed out that he's already working on the next update.

Not quite sure what's up with the sarcastic tone in your replies, but I'm not the one shitting in your cereal. As for the guy you replied to; Changelogs are usually updated once the new version is available, so I guess that's why we're still looking at the old one. Otherwise the log would not accurately reflect what's actually in the game, no? Also, why would the changelog have a special importance "on this particular website", especially when the new version isn't up yet?

Anyway.. I'm not trying to start an argument over nothing. Just sayin' the development is going quite well as it currently stands. I'm happy to see the dev working on the next release already, even with Covid. Unlike other devs who take a 2 month break over a cold.

Cheers

Can we get a brief review of the content in the update?
I would love to provide you with information, but I didn't even play the update myself yet. :)

Oh, also; Isn't it boring to play an update when you already know what's gonna happen? Maybe that's just me tho.

I wasn't trying to say he's lying. Like you said yourself, that's just your own predisposition to somebody saying anything about a developer 'cause you "understand the skepticism" (and I get it, I've seen a lot of unwarranted bitching towards some developers, and also very warranted bitching towards others). Changelogs aren't that important, but they also don't take that much time to write. Saying "Covid hasn't vanished" in response to me was also just a bit silly, 'cause...no shit Covid hasn't vanished. Polio hasn't vanished yet. Hell, the fucking Bubonic Plague still exists. The infection rates are very low these days though, so it's a bit weird to have people make these heroic whiteknight posts over the fact that it's a little funny for a game developer to get Covid at this time. His pace of development has been good, and the content has been good, and nowhere did I even vaguely imply that he was lying. It was just a meaningless little joke comment in a porn game's thread.

And nah, you're not shitting in my cereal, not really, but saying "Covid hasn't vanished", as if infection rates don't exist at all and as if I was ever implying that Covid just vanished into thin air was just a little condescending. You dressed it up in nice, neutral language while being condescending; I just made my tone more congruent with the content.

The whole point about changelogs being of importance "to this website" is that this is a pirate website (whether some games do eventually get public releases or not), and from the perspective of the developers, it's important for them to get people to actually pay them on Patreon for their efforts, and it's easier to reel people in with early releases if they can actually see what kind of content they're paying for. People know what they'd be paying for, so they will more easily cave in and pay for it. Pretty simple concept, I thought.

At the end of the day, it's like you said, we're starting an argument over nothing. I just made a silly joke, it got the wrong reaction from at least one person, it snowballed a bit etc. I agree that the development is going well, and there are developers whose content is posted on this site who are absolute criminals in comparison, so we are - ignoring the clash over a joke - completely in agreement anyway, so let's leave it at that.

(And yes, I do enjoy typing. Sorry for the big wall of waffle.)

i have no fucking clue what joke you're trying to make or insinuate, you suck dick at sarcasm dawg
The joke was that you don't get Covid if you sit at home writing a changelog, and the incidence rate of Covid is so low these days that you have to either be reeeeally unlucky, or literally out there licking hand rails (and maybe an anti-vaxxer, which, y'know, would make your symptoms bad enough to where you can't work at a computer, but symptoms do vary from person to person anyway, so that's also a bit of a presumptuous sarcastic joke, in case your autism doesn't catch this either) and I was just making what I figured was a relatively inoffensive joke along the lines of the people who continued having parties during lockdown 'cause they didn't care to be careful about it. I don't suck dick at sarcasm, "dawg", just 'cause you're dumb as fuck, "dawg". Thanks for the reply letting me know how slow you are though, "dawg".
