"I could crunch it and release the update possibly tomorrow. But I will not do that... "
i think for dev own sake he shouldnt say stuff like that.. nothing good can come from it??
i could pay for patreon today.. but i will not do that..
Why not? Their argument for doing so seems completely rational. It serves to explain the project status. If you don't pay for patreon today, you get to pay for a polished release on Friday instead.

Of course it's Eric, he just admitted to Vi that he wants to see her being a slut on public so people can see her. There's still a couple more of updates to see her having sexual intercourses with another men/women, for now it's just exhibitionism and teasing (as it should, if I want to see a guy's GF fucking another dude the next day he tells her he wants her to be a slut, I just search for a porn video)

that's not what i'm saying, obviously. but if we are getting 5 scenes an update, i'd rather the 5th scene be another tease or exhibitionist scene with an NTS element rather than a vanilla sex scene. maybe they spice it up with NTS-talk or some "what if?" flashes? there's ways to do it, we will have to see

The releases are getting slower and slower now that he build a sizable amount of paying audience.
Another one who apparently doesn't get it. Each release had more content than the one prior, the upcoming release even adds animation and other features on top of an even bigger chapter. Just like nickrotund you're somehow unable to do the simple math and come to the conclusion that more content also comes with more time.

Game's been out since mid May. That's 4 chapters (if released next week) plus an early remaster due to drama surrounding the art. That's literally 5 and a half months for 4 chapters + remaster aswell as adding new features. Like... are you sure you ever supported this project? CG even talked about his absence on Patreon, he explained that he'd post fewer images to have more time for the game... Are you guys just trolling or what?

TLDR; The development is not getting slower. The amount of content per release is going up, hence why it's taking longer. That's not slower development.

As for nickrotund, you ignore any logic provided to you and keep coming back talking absolute nonsense. Actual troll. No clue what you're thinking when a game releases updates so frequently, then coming here and cry. Like fuck, you should check out some projects that are an actual shitshow instead of crying about a game that is going just fine.

Anyway, just for you two: Slower development either means LESS content in MORE time, or simply more time for the same amount of content. Neither applies here. So... can you just stop talking garbage?

Okay, that's all somewhat valid....but keep in mind it is kinetic.

That doesn't mean more images and new features develop themselves. I don't understand how people can complain about bigger updates with more features taking more time. I mean... that's no rocket science. Just because it's a kinetic novel doesn't mean that, for example (not the actual numbers), creating 100 images take the same amount of time as creating 200 images + animation + new features (Whatever those features may be. Just referencing what CG said about the next release). The guys I've been quoting don't seem to get that for some reason.

interested to see the animations he's been talking about. i know he outsourced them to someone else, which is fine.

a little goes a long way with animations, just a little bit of movement can make a scene a lot hotter. excited for it!

This returns to the same discussion we had earlier though - of course creating more takes more time, but not once in your writing have I seen any acknowledgement that one should also be producing more with more resources available.

And yes, I'm also excited to see what animations come.

In what way tho? Better hardware? Isn't really doing anything for games created with AI as he's already operating on a 3090ti and upgrading wouldn't magically increase how fast he can type prompts or how fast he can come up with engaging ideas as to how he wants the story to continue or what he wants his scenes to look like. Better hardware wouldn't help him post-processing images via Photoshop etc. either. Would be a different story if he was on a 10 year old potato rig, but that's not the case.

Hiring people? Last time I checked, he was making roughly ~$2.000 a month on Patreon. He's gained some subs since then, so let's assume he's at $3.000 a month now. That is before Patreon's cut and before taxes. What's left is barely enough to turn it into a full-time job, which is what he's apparently done now. Hiring people costs money, and with that kind of income not really feasible yet, atleast not if that is your only source of income.

He's already got people proofreading and playtesting I believe, and at a certain point I'd say hiring another artist would totally be an option, given that his income keeps going up.

Other than that, not quite sure how the amount of money he's currently earning would increase the development speed. That said, he is in no way obligated to change anything. Again, this would be a different story if for example, like other developers have done in the past, he'd promised to hire helpers upon reaching a certain sub goal or whatever. If he ever does that without delivering, then yeah, I'd be the first to come here and criticize it just like I do on other projects.

Hope that's enough input in regards to the resources available.

Cheers!

better hardware, more ppl hepling, but most importance dev has more time to work on game.. idk why u think that other guy means higher monthly income=faster dev. but more time and resource, and less other things to worry about = faster dev in theory..

end of day it doesnt matter.. whatever happens happens

That's why you'll be getting an even bigger Chapter coming up aswell as animations and other new features (whatever those may be). All of this takes more time, which he can now apparently afford to spend after quitting his dayjob.

Your only argument "development is getting slower" is just not true, and the reasons can be seen reading the above.

end of day it doesnt matter..
You wouldn't come here saying development is getting slower if that's what you actually think, especially not after I gave you enough examples as to why what you keep saying is factually wrong.
