I remember trying this game when it came out, I see that it's still pretty tame on the content
nope, the fucking's been quite rough, the teasing heavy and the internal-conflict of MC has been nicely played (could have been better if it was drawn out more but the NTR warts would flare up again...). "sharing" has started, a while back already with an awesome public disgrace type scene:sneaky:, but, thankfully, didn't jump into fucking directly (would've shat up the whole buildup and essentially rendered the story over).
I'm just answering specifically whether love interests have fucked other guys yet:)...
Aside from GF, there's at least two relatively rough scenes with voyeurism, one involving mc but oral only, the other has fucking (com to think of it, technically the latter is now LI).

Ch. 5.
One of the hottest games on this site. And I'm not sure why.

The characters are likeable - which is not always the case in NTR games.
And the sex these characters engage in is incredibly intense and hot - which is not always the case for NTS games.

Music is good. Slow when needed. Intense and sexy when required.
Sound during sex scenes are great - and adds a new dimension to how hot the scene is.
The only problem is the sound (of blowjob, for example) is played once - for a second or two - and it's done. Silence.
Just move the sound to another channel (loopable) and trim it a bit so it loops well - and it'll fix it.

Plot is condensed and fast-paced, but not confusing.
Story itself uses every cliché in the book, but in an interesting and unique way. There's no insane drama so far - but it still feels more intense than most other games on this site when you actually play it [on that later.]

All of the above are solid, but not something we didn't see in other games.

I think the future that makes this game stand out - is how unpredictable the sex scenes are.
And not in a sense that "shit just happens for no reason". It's the opposite. At every point in time, you have several different promises and possibilities on how the future sex scenes will play out. So even the anticipation is entertaining.
But even with that bunch of possibilities in your head, more often than not author manages to surprise you with what is actually plays out.

So the sex scenes themselves are unpredictable and intense.
And normal talking scenes in between sex scenes is a constant game of promises, innuendos, and anticipation - on what could possibly happen next. And how.

That makes practically every minute of the game both hot and intense.
Hot because you think of sex stuff all the time.
And intense because there's a lot to think about. And imagine.

It's like reading "Sherlock Holmes". Only you solve the crime of horny.

Agreed
As I mentioned in the post below, one of the main and distinctive points of this game compared to some other games is its originality
https://f95zone.to/threads/my-new-girlfriend-ch-5-circlegames.207440/post-16100838
This game doesn't try to copy other games, and it doesn't try to stick to definitions, it doesn't try to keep itself within defined frameworks. These limitations hinder creativity, innovation, and new experiences
When you try to copy other games, the player can predict everything, even knowing how far the scene will go, whether it ends in sex or not
But when you don't copy other games, that's when the player feels fear, danger, tension, and excitement because they can't predict anything. They know they are both at risk of being cucked and of cucking someone else. Because tension builds up, when you cuck another, you get a great sense of power and happiness, and when you get cucked, you experience a great sense of sexual tension and absolute horniness

hope dev not get influenced too much by shadows dev.. playing latest new version of it and its starting to feel like the same game.. its ok to have different ideas..
It’s the opposite! I don’t know what’s going on between these two devs, but it feels like Shadows is plundering MNGF! The latest example is the club: same interior assets, pink and gray… It’s pretty disappointing.

The good thing about Shadows is the consistency in the rendering style, but that’s not enough to make it a good game…

Honestly, these devs should work together—one on the main storyline, the other on ‘meanwhile’ scenes, POVs, or DLCs…

Anyway, it feels like a fratricidal feud, and that’s pretty lame…

So because Shadow takes inspiration from MNGF its plundering and you feel there is a "feud"?
The devs know each other, yes. I am sure if MNGF Dev doesnt like what Shadows is doing they can speak up for themselves.

I like both games and they clearly have a different story and a different approach in how to go about things.

They have a agreement and MC finds Ari and not go ahead just to watch and get back to the table??
Cmon... it was his chance to have fun and let Vi have fun with Sai... make no sense.

I know very well that the two know each other! They even do some light cross-featuring! Kate from Shadows is the unknown girl Eric meets at the Neon Club…

Maki is the unknown girl in Shadows’ NYCT Club (by the way, she even references the Neon Club -> another club not too far away). And funny thing about this one, they even went as far as sharing the hmm.mp3 audio file from MNGF for Maki’s appearance in Shadows, just renamed CGsmirk.mp3 (18KB)… Nice little detail!

All of this is pretty cool, but where it becomes problematic from a player’s perspective is that the situations are copy-pasted!

Take Eric’s reaction when discovering the Neon Club: ‘Whaow, big, can hear the music from the inside’—almost the exact same lines for Luke…

And then both clubs have the same decor and lighting (pink/gray).

And then you have the same tables cutting the screen horizontally with shots on them (okay, the drink color is different)…

Etc...

That’s what I mean by plundering.

Yet, the solution is already there—they just need to fully embrace it by officially declaring that the games share the same universe!

Then you make it a single club with a single decor, and suddenly it’s not jarring anymore. The NYCT bouncer becomes Samuel (especially since they’re identical except for skin color…), and everything falls into place. And you can share all the assets you want without a Patreon thinking, “Wait, am I paying for the same game twice??”

IMHO, if this shared universe isn’t treated as a real feature, then it’s just an excuse for a certain kind of laziness! And I’m saying this while fully acknowledging that Shadows still represents a huge amount of work!

I think it’s a shame that someone casually checking out these 2 games—like many people do—will just see two productions that look so similar they won’t even know who inspired who… :cautious:

Aside from the foregone conclusion of "plundering" poppycock, I missed the part where this is a problem... Sharing assets? Same universe? "Brand"? Is this any different from what creators have done in virtually every medium? If it were one dev who said I wanna write two separate stories would that be an issue (aside from the smartassery here by some fuckface about how you're never gonna reach potential time schdeule fap qaulity quack rbrrrrrrrrrrbr)?

Otherwise thanks for pointing out the crossover in MNG, I hadn't noticed_
