Nobody is having any sort of mental breakdown over NTR. Everyone has their own preferences and things they like or dislike. You, for example, certainly got quite upset when BCG made a small joke. So you might relate to people not liking reading certain things.

Let us all be understanding and not constantly cast stones from glass houses, as Im seeing a lot of that going on.

There very likely will be, with Sai. Hes been fairly clear on the path of the main couple being NTS. If you include NTR there it no longer has the same weight or vibe, it becomes a different story altogether.

I have a problem!

I’m updating my translation, and of course, this mini-update is causing quite a few issues due to my (unconventional) approach to this work. So, it’s both expected and partly my fault. But that’s not really the point: I need to reimplement the new renders, but I’m facing a dilemma.

IMO, the new images for the beginning—the player’s first encounter with Vi—no longer convey the same messages (the way they can be interpreted) as the old ones.
And now I’m wondering if I’m just going crazy!

The thing is, CG is the art director of his work, but I am of mine, and my goal is to refine and make the text even more arousing. So, it’s not just a straight translation, it’s a bit more nuanced and I also have to work with what’s shown (through the images) even if it’s not necessarily stated in the original text…

Anyway, I need your opinion. To help with that, I made a little chart that you should be able to grasp quickly. Under each image is my interpretation of each images.

Question: Do you see what I see, not really, or not at all?

I'm not sure I understand what you're doing. But as far as the comments under the pics: the lower-mid is more an old-school horny blushing (often with shy/innocent/inexperienced connotations)

The author of the game has already talked about the genre of this game a trillion times. On the first page of the game, the description says what genre this game is dedicated to. Go and play NTR games buddy no need to cry.

I’m still working on updating my translation, and it seems that Sai’s first dialogue (which was modified) affects quite a few other lines—like lines 412 to 414 in this prologue, which now needs an adjustment.

I hope there won’t be too many updates like this, because tracking down the affected lines could be a real pain. Off the top of my head, I’m thinking of the video game scene and the park scene in Chapter 5, but I haven’t checked yet…

So, before I bother the proofreaders, I just took a brief glance at those lines and then the video game and park scene and I'm failing to see the inconsistency. Sai doesn't know that Eric and Vi are dating, this seems to be consistent.

If the rest of Sai’s dialogues are supposed to stay unchanged, maybe something should be added here to emphasize that Eric is trying to convince him that no, they’re not dating… At least, that’s how it seems to me…

EDIT: OR just remove this lines that aren't so important after all...

It might still happen in the future though, maybe when the game is done the dev will add a few choices that will change what happens and how it happens. I wouldn't complain, but obviously completing their vision with a nts game first would be the best.
That's what they want to do so that's what they should do. If the dev gets enough requests on patreon for NTR it might happen eventually. But only if the dev wants to create it.
There is nothing wrong with asking for it, it's still the devs decision to make what they want.
I prefer the game as it is. But some variety is good as well.

Line 545 and 549 are calling the same image (rc anya2) -> useless
Edit: in fact rc anya2 is called 3 times in a row beginning at 522
Line 584 is calling rc anya4 instead (I think) rc anya5 (-> rc anya5 is the new rc anya3 but is not called at all in this update)

Possible, but in that case, not great, because his ‘maybe not’ is typical of their banter, whereas here, he’s in full ‘yeah, keep talking, whatever’ mode.

But if we go with that, then there should be some lines like ‘I knew it’ or ‘You were a jerk for hiding that from me’ somewhere—echoing their very first conversation.

All in all, this calls for some tweaks… (well, if we’re really nitpicky about consistency)

If you weren't so hellbent on getting mad about NTR maybe you'd read what I actually wrote first? And no it's not an attack to ask for something you enjoy to be added to a game. It's not a small subset of people either, it's a pretty large chunk of people why else would there be so many games for it?
Also I am more of a NTS fan than I am NTR. You'd know that if you read what I wrote before getting mad.
Vanilla people come in to every NTR game and complain too, insult people I play all kinds of games and I never see ntr people do anything but ask and get insulted for asking. Asking is never wrong. Stating you wish for a game you enjoy to have something else you enjoy added is also not an attack on everything other people find holy. It's such an overreaction.
I wrote it might happen eventually if the dev wants to do it. That implies if people actually pay the guy and ask for it enough it might happen, or it might not. He might just get annoyed by it. Which is fair, but people who pay for things have a right to at least ask for things and give suggestions, just as people do here.
Devs do not have to listen.
The guy I responded to even said the guy he responded to was crying, he wasn't btw, that guy just made that up in his own mind.
The guy just stated what he wanted and moved on and was met with hostility.

I preferred the Melkor look of chapter 1 but still appreciate the game regardless of rework. Months late, but imagine complaining about stealing art on a pirate forum. Mother fuckers acting like they got their money robbed.
