There are well over 300.000 creators on Patreon and this developer is ranked ~#1800th overall and ~#160th in the adult category as of now. His first post on Patreon dates back to May 2024 which means he's in it for roughly 15 months now. If making it to the top 0.6% on the platform within 15 months of development is not considered a commercial success for a creator on Patreon, I don't know what is.



Considering he's pretty much tripled his subscriber count since then (screenshot), rough estimates would put him at ~$6.000 earnings per month and that is steadily going up aswell. That is more than successful for adult game developers if you ask me.

Also as pointed out it's doing commercially very well!

The reality is it balanced out many different fetishes against one another, some people don't like one or another of these (complaints about interracial elements or harem elements or stepcest elements or any other type of content present are nothing new here...) but no one type of content is overwhelming and all see a lot of planning and dev time.

The next chapter coming out is no exception to this, it's hardly "pervasive" there. Ultimately you can never please everyone, and having a kinetic VN with so many different fetishes present is bound to upset some people who like some of the fetishes but hate a couple of the others, but it's a success on that model and allows CG to write the narrative as he wants.

I disagreed with you because while I also dislike the omnipresent bbc fetish stuff, to say that's bad for commercial success is most definitely wrong. That stuff is GREAT for commercial success which is especially frustrating when you're not into it.

I'm not getting embroiled in this argument again to be honest with you. You just lack reading comprehension man, that's all there is to really say. I already said it was one of the themes, along with a number of others. I'm involved in the proofreading process and know both the content of the next chapter as well as a lot (albeit not all) of the longer term plans. It's a major theme certainly, in the same way like half a dozen things are major themes in the game. It is annoying that people like you continue to push this false idea though, because all it's going to lead to is a lot of BBC gooners being disappointed when they don't get exactly what they want because they have a false impression about how heavily that content will be leaned into.

Anyway I'm peacing out for a bit, yapping in this thread is never a productive use of time.

think the best thing we can do when it comes to Vn Kinect is to adopt a stoic mindset, not to worry about things we have no control over, it was the best thing I learned. I also hate the BBC fetish but it seems to be one of the main fetishes along with some others in this game and in many others and as Pr0GamerJohnny said, it is an extremely profitable fetish and we can't do anything about it, the best thing to do is accept it and enjoy the parts you like the most, I still think it's an excellent game even with these parts that I hate.
