Been working on the end of the next update mostly but now I have some other stuff that I can share with you, a lot of mutiple girls on screen this update, always brings a layer of extra work but I'm still confident Hope you like seeing the girls together

Am I the only one who sees this cg and thinks the art got worse then pre chapter 6? Maki face and even Anya face(lesser visible) are lower quality and their stomach shrunk, especially Anya because Maki tits are massive and are hanging but Anya feels off(like her shoulders are too wide)

Coudn't find Anya in similar position but look at Maki in Chapter 5, in my opinions she looks better here then on the teaser for ch.7 and sure this could be because this one is solo so ai has an easier task

You're not the only one as this has come up before both in the thread and a couple people I know dming me, but it's subjective. It's a stylistic change there's definitely nothing wrong with liking the previous style more. I'm not entirely sure why he changes up his style so often as I never asked, but I think based on the outcome he clearly wants the style to have a very hand drawn/comic look in comparison to other AI styles out there.
At least that covers the facial traits/linework/coloration etc. In terms of the broader shoulders on Anya, it's likely a mix of the resolution and angle she was rendered at. In an 832x1216 base render for example her shoulders would be more narrow on average than a 1344 x 768 base render.

In terms of my personal tastes, I do think Maki from chapter 5 was a bit better, but I actually prefer the newer look for Anya (ignoring the shoulder width of this particular render).

Just for context here's an 832x1216 base render (upscaled a ton) of Anya off patreon the other day.

The eyes in particular look far more hand drawn than AI eyes usually do, given that those who work on the eyes with inpaint/adetailer leave them with usually a very distinct crispness.

But again, it's super subjective and I can see preferring a style that is a bit higher in detail/less sketchy. But the sketch style is clearly the goal here (as it's actually far easier to create a high detail style than a sketch style) and I personally like it a lot.

I see, Anya as I said in the post was bugging me to a lesser extant(outside the shoulders) but as Maki fan I immediately felt that it was worse quality wise. It is obviously subjective as you said. Last time I did feel like Maki looked worse in Anya pov in chapter 5 but I blamed it on a fact that it was for the animation.

The Anya post? There was just a patreon poll for some sexy poses/clothes with one of the girls (minus Vi) in front of the Deviant logo, that was one of the four images (and the least interesting/hot tbh, but it was the only one that was the standard cowboy shot 832/1216 ratio I needed to show my point).

It's really easy to drop the joke "The update will be out when it's ready" but in Circle's case that's pretty much the only answer that matters. He very rarely announces release dates or timelines more than a few days in advance. I'm sure he's hoping to release something before year end as much or more than anyone who follows the game is.

Just to set expectations, the next chapter is split in two and he already announced awhile back the title for part 1 is Dual Reclaim. So riot if you want but it's dubious much will happen with Vi/others in part 1 (though I do not know for sure) but I would suspect it will in part 2.

Calling reclaim harem regardless of what you think about it is certainly a wild take (what harem game has even a single "reclaim" scene or reason for it?). Not that CG even cares if people call it harem or NTR or anything else it's been repeatedly accused of as he already openly stated it will contain some of these themes in various ways. I'm still confused why you keep showing up after over a year of complaints. The game apparently isn't for you, kinda weird to continually come back to the thread over and over no?

tbh there is one thing i didnt like, we been following vi sexual journey and the first interaction she has with another dick that not the mc's is with a nobody.... i rather have bruce or sai to have it...for me the story lost a bit of its mojo by doing that..., am engage to the story not only the sexual part of it....my only hope is that dude is bruce apprentice and he eas taking the pictures while vi was posing with bruce but that not likely to happen

I do personally have the opinion that she should have sucked Sai off after the club.

The setup was right there, and the timing felt right to my mind to start her going a little further. The longer it's put off the more repetitive the story feels and the less the NTS aspects fit imo. Maybe it's just me but I'm not a big fan of ch6 but then I'm not an Ari guy so, for me it was kind of just buildup for two things that didn't end up happening.

That said the tease/delivery balance is a fine one, I just think the game had the balance right up until ch6 and then basically rushed Anya's story only to stall, and backtracked a bit with Vi. I suspect ch7 pt2 should deliver a bit more but that's ages away, so I can't help but feel a little annoyed that for a game that's clearly building to NTS the trajectory lost some steam.
