Patreon isn't exactly "paying for a product" but rather donating to support a creator and their projects.
And no, that's the official claim, but that's not how Patreon actually works in practice and everyone knows it. You pay to get perks, getting the game before other people or anything else, thus you pay a service. If you stop paying you lose these perks, thus this is a service. Pure donation would change absolutely nothing in your ability to get the content in question. Try some economics and/or marketing course before coming back.

WOW - not even close to a milker. This dev is communicative and produces quality product in reasonable time frames. Delays are not surprising in any development project, especially over the Western holidays. All of us want more, faster - but unless you're a supporter you have no room to complain (if you are a supporter, complain on support platform or message the dev).

I would give you the same advise ;)
when is next update out

Now you're suddenly trying super hard to shift the conversation into economy 101 when this whole thing was about using the same nick across multiple platforms, which for some reason you believe to be...wrong, or something. I simply pointed out why that's not the case, how plenty people are using the same nick across platforms, and how Patreon works despite what "everyone knows". And now you're upset or something..?

You're all over the place. You went from "Lmao dev doesn't know you", to "common sense to not use the same name on different platforms", to "Patreon's model is buying a product", and now "It's paying for a service".

Also, quick note; Paying for a service is not the same as buying a product, primarily due to fundamental differences in their nature, characteristics, and economic treatment. Not only are you cherrypicking my post - ignoring the important part, you're also going left and right whenever it seemingly fits your narrative. Do you feel qualified talking economics or telling me to "try a marketing course" (lol)?

Edit: We're both going way offtopic here. Talking about the dev is fine and all, but if you wanna have a discussion on what Patreon is or isn't, we may have to continue via DM's as I don't wanna clog this thread with it.

I'm not rushing anyone. Nor do I mind waiting. I'm just stating what I saw since I can't provide evidence firsthand due to my sub running out. There are other users who reference the "Last Ch7 Teaser" with a similar timeline I provided. If it ends up being wrong then so be it. I'll delete my post and apologize, but I'm not here making stuff up, regardless if you saw it or not.
I wasn't even talking to you brother, I just gave my opinion, but I understood what you meant

I love how that guy knows I have him on my ignore list so is now trying to pick a fight with you lol

Watching narcissists sperg out when you've grey rocked them is the best.

It was on his discord back when I had access till the 6th. But I can't pull it up now so feel free to take it with a grain of salt.

Definitely didn't "imagine it" nor am I "confused" just telling you what I read on his discord. I remember the time window because I keep notes for game releases, MNGF included. If I end up being wrong then so be it. But I'm not lying or confusing things here.
Stop lying. Several of us are in the Discord and no such thing was ever said. I literally just checked to make sure.

Update will come when the update comes. Dev is still active there and there's currently a member's art contest going on.

-Phone brand incrases its price with no clear additions to technology
-I am not a buyer of this brand
-Yet me and everyone else can and should criticize that move

Surprise surprise, once you put any product to the market, you give right to people to criticize you. They may not be buying it right now but everyone is a potential customer. Happened when Nvidia announced 5000s prices, happens all the time with Nintendo.

And again, you are also free to defend your graceful dev, it is just a bit funny.
"Hey, man. Who said you could criticize this movie? What, have you never made a movie before? That's what I thought! You can't critique this movie if you've never made a movie. That's how this works."

The developer is a typical example of a milker.
The release was delayed until the beginning of the month, then they said it was supposedly for the 10th or 12th (which is already mid-month, not the beginning).

Now the developer tests the patience of its subscribers—how long are they willing to endure and remain silent—to see how long they can delay the release each time.
Therefore, the release will be IMMEDIATELY as soon as his subscribers start to get indignant and ask why the delay?

P.S. The game is dead because of the developers' attitude towards the project.
I think u don't really understand how real milking works)
There are devs who make one small update in a year or half, having lots of subs and money from them and they delay updates constantly saying shit happens, computer died and bla-bla. All they do - post commisioned art on Patreon and previews of update that will be "soon"
last update was 3 months ago and as far as I understand a new update will be this month.CG began development in the end of october in 2024 and it means that the game now is a liitle bit older than one year and we had 5 more updates since initial release, each bigger then previous(ok, maybe last update wasn't bigger) So we had 6 chapters practically in one year with a lot of scenes and content and u call it milking ? Maybe CG doesn't work as fast as some devs like Llama who creates sexbot, but it's not milking deffinetly. if he wanted to milk his audience he would post BBC arts and comissioned shit on Patreon and release 1 small update in half a year divided in parts)
P.S. There is a femdom themed game called "Succubus Kingdom", dev has 200 paid subs only on patreon (it's 1000-1500 dollars per month apx) and the last update was more than a year ago. Dev released more then 7 prewievs and the first time he promissed new update was in febuary last year. Practicaly every month he promissies to release update and last time he told that update will be before New year and he will do everything what it takes to release it, u understand what happened next. Dude posts arts on his patreon and discord and really milks his audience making money while doing nothing. And there are tonns of other games and devs who develop games like this. So yeah, u really don't understand what is real milking.

Yep. There are almost ten year old games with less content or plot progression. Endless excuses, delays for almost no content.
