From what I heard from some other Patreons BON did a vote on whether to go back to the older version of the game or continue with this one and If I Remember correctly most of them voted for him to keep with the newer version while the minority voted different so as much as I hate to admit it someone besides BON wanted this.

That is and was not my interpretation. Since the 1st release of the revamp, there have been a few polls asking patreons if they liked it. Majority have. Here is the latest poll:

That's not the same thing. The fact that he even made a poll that might have got ridden of everything he did in the last 6 months makes you wonder.

Well, I like a lot of the new features. The original game, IMO was massive, So I would have rather seen an actual "new" game with a continuation of the characters with the new systems.
But, I have dealt with far worse "developers".

He made a poll when he was still working on the old game. Previously he made another poll on the new game (MNL2) showing work he had made on it and asking for advices.
Just tell me: what's going to happen to My New Life 2? is he going to scrap it? did he merge it with MNL Revamped? did he decide to use the cgs he already made for MNL2 into the Revamped version?
What the fuck is this mess? why did he abandon the old game? we just wanted some bugfixing and a gallery, forchrissake!
Please, stop CLUTCHING AT STRAWS IN ORDER TO DEFEND SOME DEVS' POOR DECISIONS, DAMNIT!

From my understanding, MNL2 will be this new version once he adds in all the old story. So it looks like it will be one massive game.
As I have always understood it, this new version had all the new systems he was working on for MNL2. Somewhere down the line he decided to add in the old content.
That is why the releases are happening a few times a month right now. Most of the CG and story is already done. However, he has made changes to the story. I dont agree with all of it.
Just sharing my thoughts on what I have gathered from following him this past year.

Well, I think he made a big, big, big, big mistake. We're going to see 2 unfinished versions of the same game, in the end, instead of a bugged game and his more polished sequel. Damnit.
That's not true: you can have sex (in two different occasions) with Cloe (or Chloe?), who's definitely a futa. There's also a trans boy in there somewhere (a cousin of one of MC's pals)
