I saw that on the guide, i never got this quest to trigger , right after grabbing the comics with the sister ? Maybe that's what locks me from the game ? But idk , brenda/jason quest didnt seem to finish either .... man this game is a buggy mess fr , does anyone have a save for this timing so i can go and play the game ? Cuz i'll keep repeating the mistake and not be able to keep up if i don't know what i'm doing wrong
My current game rn , game is still asking me to check on jet , i did everything with Ms.Taylor , went as far as i can with Ms.Turner, just did the "grab the comics from the trash bin" quest , can't seem to advance anything , and couldnt finish the "grab tickets for brenda" quest for school , idk what's wrong

Another issue I noticed is that like with Carol's image in the book of faces Charles Mother when you unlock hers doesn't show up either. However unlike with Carol there is nothing you can actually do to actually make it show in the book.
Also not sure what is wrong but after I completed the mission with Brenda to distract Karen, when she calls you to her home the sex interface shows but it doesn't start for me.

Ive been trying to scour the thread but its become so big its hard to do that. How do you increase your social skills like politics, culture and fashion? Ive read something like magazines but I can't find any more information on them
Where is Ms Evans House cause it aint downtown 3 unless my game is just bugged cause that takes me to brenda's house

You buy/find magazines in the shops (e.g. at Terracotta you will have the opportunity to find fashion magazines), at the mall, at the newspaper on the street, sometimes you find them in the garbage cans (when you see the little stars shining, 90% are the magazines).

Thanks, that's a great advice. I only edited a .json file in the "data" folder because the process is very well explained, and it seemed safer than editing a save file. In fact, I'm already finishing this version of the game without any problems.I see you got through
Nevertheless, you should continue to read below, just to be aware.
Editing save and changing stuff can cause issues that at NOT BUGS and results in NO easy way to fix unless you rem what you did. Most of the time, people will end up having to start a new game to fix the issue (that is not a game issue). Only using a clean version of the game + new game start can fix when you been editing willy-nilly. Some may fix the bug currently, but cause issues later on in the game that are unfixable. Explain further below.
Editing maps, editing save without knowing exactly the process can cause issues. Yes it might bypass a bug, but that bug may not be govern by ONE thing or change since last update. Meaning you change one thing and pass the bug, but you also miss the other things that needed to be change in order for the game to work LATER ON. Or when you change something, you miss the event you suppose to trigger and jump to another similar event, missing tons of things needed to be save in your save, causing some serious issues (this is what I see most of the time from the saves I try to fix). As the dev is known to add new things to the game ALL THE TIME, especially previously early game content.
But for the most part, players who been editing without knowing better, get issues later on in the game that are not even bugs. No way to easy fix because it is very very difficult to track the source of the user/player change.
Not saying, there are no singular change that will not work. Just be careful, backup and USE multiple saves. Never smart to depend on one save for everything.
Just some friendly advice
I've already downloaded and installed the mod and bugfixes when the Carol problem happened I'm at the point where I should be able to enter her house freely and have completed the school/gathering the book stages of her quest. Any way to use the mod to solve this problem?

From what I heard it was left like this so it would be easier for beggar to continue the story quest. So, no it's not a bug.
