i give the f*** up - this game, as much potential it may has, its a nightmare to play with all the bugs .... i started a new game because my last "playthrough" is a little bit in the past....

Neither of these works. Right mouse hides or reveals the text box,
x sometimes advances the scene 1 step, sometimes does nothing
visible.
Later: Nobody needs to bother answering me: I have read some reviews
and the only sensible thing is to abandon this game. Pity: it was very
promising.

Review your save and ensure it is not marked/flagged by the forum @www.virustotal.com.
Then I can assist Or look at the posts a few post after yours with the answers to your problem.
I am stuck with Jason's path. After the church incident, the only thing I can do with Jason is hang out with him, then nothing happens. His mom only says Jason is at his room. I cannot progress further. I also cannot go to garage and race anymore after winning few times. Anyone can help?
Please help me solve the problem with the bug. The task says to come to Tomi's room, but nothing happens. Who can fix the bug? Please take a look?

Symphony of the Night You son of a bitch. Fine. I'll get your bug patch and pledge myself to this game once more. This is your fault. All the shit I've talked about this game, I still stand by it but knowing you patch is out there for a small "exchange" that even Mr. Krabs would be willing to make I just couldn't resist. I've forgotten enough story beats and other things of the sort that I'm willing to re-experience this game thanks to you. All I want to know is this, without a guide am I going to be playing a reloading simulator or will I be good just playing? I'm familiar enough with the kinks of this game as to not leave a quest and go do another one but other than that will I be good?

You can play it relatively, bug free with the patch. Black screen and no clipping can be fix via the in-game bugfixer, but I fixed most of those as well. As for the walkthrough, no, none was or ever was needed. BOF is more than enough. Once you make side quests TOP priority, i.e pausing main and school quest, you can play the game with ease.
Sounds good dawgy. Got the bug patch from your hidey hole and am ready to roll!

There is no installation/nothing to install, so I dont know what's failing for you. You need to be clearer homie.
To cover the general: Just like the main game, the compress is a archive.
Update your archive program and extract the compress. You will get a folder with the game inside. Launch Game.exe to play the game. If you dont know what an archive is, search youtube for "extract zip,rar, winrar etc" to learn.
To download: search the main thread/this thread with the text "Compressed" OR "Compress" you will get the post/link. This goes for all compressed version in every game thread on the website

The dev just always slow. He claims he have to work on this game part-time due to low subs.
Note this is all CAUSED BY HIM. Seems like an extra excuse. Cause he could rectify that himself if he really wanted to.
So far, same slow pace as if he working full-time. Only time will tell.
What does BOF say??.
