the only problem is that the game folder is hidden and therefore joiplay cannot see the game in any way ..

Joiplay is an emulator that emulates pc games, mv game engine being one of them. Therefore you have to use the pc game with Joiplay. Not the android version, that would defeat the purpose of Joiplay.

Read Joiplay instructions and use the pc version of the game. It should work just fine. Joiplay runs this game well.

I highly recommend everyone switch to using

I'm not sure what you are asking. But assume you mean, some alternative than the Joiplay?
Sorry, but I only know about joiplay emulator because it has great support. Sadly, my android port is the only alternative I know.
