About date stats, running around the city and stores, i only found 10 books max in some stats....is that the maximum or you can buy more later?

I am stuck in this mission for waren , i have to find a laptop but i don't find it (i think it's normal)
The next scene Dr Robson enter in the appartment and i have to hide from her !
If i stay in the main room, she find me and it's Game Over !
if i enter in an other room i am totaly stuck when I appear in the new room !
