Depends how you look at it. If a dev only has little time to develop since it's more of a hobby and so we only get updates every 2ish years and a post from dev maybe every 6 months then according to the rules of this site the game will constantly go between getting and removing the abandoned tag.
First of all, search the thread before you post, it spares you a lot of time. The guide is outdated and the order of the quests have been changed.

While I personally loved the original more than the newer version it is an even bugger cesspool than this game is and that is saying something.

they are both decent games the original game had a I think lighter story to it and the revamp is a darker story driven the og had some thing calle pussy fight the revamp has some kind a street racing...both have mafias you can join... only the citys look different in the games . game play seem the same you do quests for different people and then there is the mafia quests same crap just a bit different... as far a bugs go the og has less bugs I think... there is a modder on here that is trying to fix the revamp game but it is still a bit buggy right now... and as to if the game abandoned or not I don't know for sure yet the revamp got a update in January but the dev I think does the updates about every 6 to 7 months... I know for a fact the last version I played was around july or aug of last year...and then boom got a update in January but it was a buggy and not very playable in tell the modder made some fixes and it became playable but still buggy... my advice is to play og version intel the revamp is fixed...
the og game seemed almost finished last I played through it I think the only thing that was missing was mafia quest and getting back at the dad... most of the quests are done there was a few that didn't finish... but for the most part the main quests did get finished... the revamp as the same problem the mafia quests is not finished and a few of the other quests are not done yet... no revenge on dad yet either... The main change between og and revamp is looks , a lighter story in og ,a darker of story in revamp , and pussy fights in og game , revamp has drag racing...story wise revamp is better but the damn bugs in revamp make it almost not playable... the og story is lighter and not as buggy as revamp. the og still has bugs but it is much more playable in my option... Both games are good in there own way .. It just what do you want ? a playable game that would be the og game intel the revamp gets fixed.. if you want a darker story that would revamp game... If you wanted to have pussy fights that would be og game. if you wanted drag racing that is revamp game... both games have quests to do just a bit different...
It is the same game just darker story... the og game is less buggy . revamp needs more fixes for it to be less buggy... the og game has most if not all book of faces quests done only the mafia quests are not done in ...revamp is missing some of mafia's quests also I think there is two mafia quests you can do that's it ... not sure in og game about mafia quests I think there was one quest you could do i think... depending on how may hour you play the game both games have around 10 to 30 hours of play time but becareful of the bugs some you can fix some not so much...
What really ticked me off about OG getting Revamped was the original version was finally starting to get to the Lucy content just before BOTN decided to do the revamp to fix the original bugs that were in the game as well as improve the storyline. Irony of it all was that as you pointed out as the game went on it ended up become even more buggy than the original to the point where SOTN needed to make bug fix patches to make it playable.
Yep, I remember that. Basically blue-balled us all for the next few years on Lucy, that sonofabitch. Once Lucy finally got penetration content in the REVAMP, I supported BoN on Patreon for the first and only time ever and got the download, then dropped right back out. Took long enough, but we got there. For my part, I can say I was genuinely satisfied by the content, so at least there's that much positive to say about it.
Hard to say, the game got the abandoned tag because there hasn't been a patreon post for a few months. I indirectly asked if someone saw beggar on discord but noone said anything yet.
This happens only with that one, if you search the thread you find the solutions some people found for this. If I remember many said something about the bathroom. You are meant to fail it btw unlike the others.
