ok. i'm not very computer savvy. I keep having problems with this game that it just does not save. I've had issues with 1.2 and 1.3. I've just had one version - 1.3 test - that allowed me to save, but was so buggy I deleted it and tried this new one. again - can't save. I'm using the WinRAR wizard button to put it in a separate file and opening it from there. I'm sure my ignorance is the issue and wonder if anyone can dumb down a solution for me. Help? oh - been reading a couple hundred pages of this stuff. you guys have been pretty patient with some really basic questions - hoping you can help me out.

Are you using the unpacked version of the game or are you using the original which is just a single executable a save folder and maybe a txt file or two?
If you are using the unpacked version you should have another folder in there and when you go down you will find another executable to run the unpacked version, some dll files and another two folders called locales and www.
Check your setup and see which one you have. And let us know. To start you off here are two suggestions if you are using the unpacked version.
1. Make sure you create a folder called save in the directory where the unpacked executable is alond side the locales and www folder. This is where you will need to create your saves.
2. If you look at the directory that I mentioned which is next to the original executable and is the parent of the locales and www folders find out what the name is. If you used vbenigbaunpacker it probably left you a folder name something like %Defailt Folder% . You will not be able to run the game or save properly if you don't rename this. You need to name it something normal without the % signs. I usually rename mine to unpacked.
if these don't work, write back with more specifics. packed or unpacked version? What does your directory structure look like (screenshots help)?. What does your save folder look like (Again screenshots)? Any information you can give to the board will help us help you.

You only have to have it in your inventory for those events that require it.
That being said, now that you've asked, I'd like to know how as well. :closedtongue:
Is there a scene with Rachel at the pool? I looked at the cover of the game again and now that I think about it I don't remember MC and Rachel doing that, even though in school she will mention wanting to go. Did I miss this or was this a pic made for only the cover?

Has anyone run into a bug with maria where she just vanishes during the trip to her job. She takes me up the eleveator then when she starts pathing she vanishes.

Yes, I had to start a new game from the fixed set up until Maria came to take him to her job. I then saved it and copied the save and went over to a build before the fix, past the save and continue---then it went through without a hitch. then copied the save from the pre-fix and pasted it into the fix, works fine now but it is a royal pain to have to do this.

At beth's party after i use the stinkbomb on Sarah where is she supposed to show up with Roger? Ive looked in front of beth's house my house but they aren't showing up anywhere.

I was doing Maria's quest. On the way to lab to steal the lab result then the front desk then the elevator then to 2f.
Told to me to follow her then spoof, just walk left then vanishes. Can't interact with any object except the calendar. if I leave using the elevator, i would go back then the 2f and then go black screen

I don't get black screens, it's just the picture you get with aunt when you select from the list of things you want to do. When selecting from list, some go to the scenes, while others the picture doesn't change, but you hear the scene. For the rest, thanks for Info, i'll try those things.

Can someone help me with aunt maggie because i visit her about 1o time already and it still show her anal sex scene can someone help me get past that because im tired of seeing that scene over and over again if i can't get to the part where i choose to pick to do with her but it keep on going back to that scene.
