Lena and Anna are sisters. Lena and Anna are Rei's Cousins, obviously the game's pretty clear about it.

I thought that was obvious too but I didn't want to come in swinging with it and then up being wrong somehow.

Rei literally mentions the "cousin with a foreigner as a father." Then it's revealed said cousin is Anna. Of course Rei would be Lena's cousin too.

the "cut out" is as the original game stands for now as can only base off the game sofar. the new game starts as backstory for the original game but as you write the story it is going to play a roll in the content going forward in the original as well as the new one so your planed story for MNM has most likely changed from what plan you had from the end of chapter

Not really, no. Im not sure how many prequel chapters I will make, it all depends on when I get my stuff back. But nothing for my Plans regarding the main game changed, its more like now I have an even better time to write stuff since I can introduce girls that have a connection to the MC, that dont neccesarily have to have a connection to the daughters etc.

If you still have copies of MNM chapter 4 with all associated image files, it might be possible for you to "rebuild" all of the characters. Then, you could use the "rebuilds" to continue from where you left off with on the main game. It's an option for you if you can't get the originals back.

I talked about this in the post that is also linked in the OP here. Its the last thing I will resort to if its 100% clear I wont get anything back.

Yes, of course I know. But maybe it is something like Yukiko, like she is a half sibling of the other girls, but the girls thinking it is their cousin. I mean what happend before can be an example for Lena.....

We don't know for sure when the pre-sequal or main game has been finished.

There's no reason to rethink the info we've been given. Their mothers are sisters. One married a German man and moved to Germany (and eventually to MC's home town, wherever that actually is). One married a native, presumably, but regardless stayed in Japan. They're pretty close in age, so they would have been half-way across the world from each other when their mothers got pregnant, so your theory doesn't really have any legs.

They're still first cousins. That's too big a genealogical spread for you?

Relax, don't be mad. All I meant to say was, this story is very open and nothing would surprise me. I never said it is, only that is if would be such a twist, I wouldn't be surprised.

Nevertheless I'm really happy with this story and also with this pre-sequel. Just because it is far from my reality, it is nice to dive in a loving world.

I don't know why, but with this game I have the impression that some of MC's daughters in MNM are actually from some of the relationships he has with the girls in this game. That would explain why they're so close in age and why they look so different between them (If I remember correctly, at least the 3 main daughters are his and Anna's in MNM)

If Lina being adopted wasn't already in play, I would have said Lina was from Lea or even Katharina.
I don't remember if we've talked about Sarah's mom, which is embarrassing and means I need to replay MNM to confirm.

The three in the photo at the beginning are Anna's (there's no reason to think otherwise at this point). Yukiko comes with her mother -- Anna's sister -- and the other two were adopted due to the catalyst of the story being a dickwad psychopath.

That said, I think you're probably correct, I just don't think we've met any of the daughters from the prequel yet.

Yay! I knew Rei's cousin was Anna, the ending could have only been that way!
I loved it, Killer once again you nailed it, it was so fun and sweet to see all the characters of MNM again, and I can't wait to see how the story will proceed.
And you improved a lot both on the quality of the renders but also with the storytelling, it was a great playthrough!!
Of course I wish you all the best for the main game, I've read there are still issues, but I really wish they will be solved soon Killer7!!!

Sarah and Lina are sisters, as Elhemeer said, and their biological mother died due to said dickwad father's abuse. So it'd be hard for her to appear in the main game.

Definitely calls for a replay. Hard to keep track of all the details.

It would not make sense (storywise) for Kat/Lea or Rei to have children (by the MC).
Kat/Lea lived next door to your mother, and your mother knew you had sex with both of them, she would know if they have children (Kat is introduced as yout mother's best friend) and it makes no sense that she would hide some of her grandchildren from you and Anna. Kat also knew Jeff's father (she got you the job there after college), so it is very unlikely that there are "hidden" children by those two women.
Rei is (I believe) the architect mentioned in the main game by Samantha as "inspiring you and, in turn, being inspired by you - who is also famous in her own country" Rei is Anna's cousin (their mothers are sisters) and Anna would certainly know if Rei had children by you, it goes against everything that we know about Anna for her to hide that from you.
