Here it is people, the second chapter of My New Memories: The Beginning!

While I would have preferred this would be an announcement for Chapter 4 of the main game, I still hope that you guys will enjoy this update regardless. It contains everything - Wholesome moments, funny moments, emotional moments and of course sprinkled with a bunch of lewds! I hope the length of this chapter makes up for the wait, you will learn a lot of new things about every girl in the game and you will also start to pursue new relationships if you decide to do so!

I pushed a fix for the people that have the game on Steam because I'm a retard and accidently uploaded the non-steam version to Steam... I will look into the other reports as well.

Edited: So Lea is the MC's cousin, she mention wanting to go to Germany, mention family there, in MNM their was a mention of Lina going to visit some family there and I think I remember a mention of gingers there too, so I suspect it was Lea, her mom and their extended family. I have to admit I thought Lea might have been the MC's half-sister, but I guess this idea sorta passed through my head too.

While interesting I feel this story in a way retcon MNM to some degree, their was a mention of Anna introducing the notion of the MC & his twin doing something intimate together in MNM, yet in this game you have Lea that was pushing for that pretty strongly. The notion was that incest in a way was Anna's kink, yet it feel like this game introduce the notion it was already to some degree something the MC's got into it before Anna was even back. MNM gave the impression the MC was alot less sexually active with others than this story imply, I mean he literally got 5 new LIs from this game, before he even got with Anna, it give off the vibe he was solidly a polyamorist before Anna was back, even if MNM seem to imply it came from her.

Next, the weird dreams, in MNM while it was mentioned the MC and Anna had a incredibly strong bond, at no point anyone mentioned to the MC that he had in the past similar weird dreams shared with Anna, yet it literally happen in this game, and he mentioned it to virtually everyone around him, so he should have had something similar already. It feels like this game will just about cause a requirement for the rewrite of MNM to account for all the changes this story narrative bring to that reality that seem to diverge from what is supposed to be its sequel. It really feel like all those relationships from this game should have been very important to the MC, yet they don't exist as far as MNM's narrative goes. I mean sure their are implications to some degrees for example I stated above that Lina likely visited Lea & her Mom in Germany, possibly also for Lena & her daughter to have been either visiting / staying over with Rei.

Like I had mentioned in another comment it really feel like by the end of this we'll hear that in MNM the MC had half a dozen more children in existence. It feel weird for all of that to exist yet for MNM to still remain as it is, so yea I feel a rewrite will be needed to adjust the divergeances between the two games, because right now all you can ask is 'where the Hell were all of them were in MNM and how come no one mentioned any of it'? I mean you'd expect just about everyone of them would rally over when they heard the MC got into a severe accident, they all love him, sure you can say 'oh they'll be there for Christmas' but it sounds odds none the less, also wouldn't their had been plans for a FAR bigger house considering the circumstances? I mean it gives the impression that at one point all of them should have wanted to return together again and considering the current expected family size, its clearly missing a staggering amount of space in their current house in MNM, its barely enough space for a third of the family together, less be said about all the other girlfriends, the MC's mother and quite possibly aunt, as well as his quite possibly dozen+ progeny.

I vaguely remember enjoying chapter 1 though I don't fully remember what happened in that chapter, but I clearly like it enough to put this game on my watch list. But my impression for chapter 2 is not as positive because what really popped about this chapter to me is the extremely lengthy dialogue. I don't mind lengthy dialogue if it covers a lot of plot progression and/or character development, but it feels like this chapter does neither. Dialogue is lengthy but a lot of small talk that doesn't really progress the plot, and also feel repetitive with talking about the same thing but to multiple different characters.

I wanted to focus a little more on the MC talking about things, since you barely know anything about him from his own perspective in the main game so I get why that could come off like that. The plot progression in this case was for me personally to tell others about how his relationship with Anna was ( the talk with Rei, for example ) or how he sees his relationship with his father ( talked about with different girls ). I can understand why that doesn't feel as satisfying though.

didn't realize this was on Steam gonna have to pick it up at some point , not sure when. I like it enough still playing the update slowly. Usually not a big Harem fan but I like this more more than most ive played. Kind of helps I don't know anything about the other game too

I am really torn this update - again:
1. Minka? Really? That is how I (a fellow german weirdo) called my imaginery cat as very young child. WTF is going on? Love it BTW.
2. WTF? It was clear from the very beginning what the Relationship is between MC, Lea and Katharina. Everyone can see it coming from kilometers away. Unfortunately, this MC is also written in a way, which makes him so completely stupid in multiple ways, that He deserves to be retroactively aborted.

This is one of the very few times where I hope for a Rewrite of the MCs personality. I mean, there is young and somewhat stupid because of being inexperienced and or sheltered. And then there is this MC (like many others) who are too stupid to be allowed to breath.

Lets hope Chapter 3 gives some Braincells to the MC. In general: Good update as always - except for the MC and his "thinking ability" not getting better - once more [like in your other projects]. So: Keep up the (otherwise) good work.

I decided to make a render using the "Old" Sabrina model, also known as the Sabrina you see in the main game. I still feel like she is one of the best girls I created so far, with such a unique face and those green eyes... Truly one of my favorite characters!

There is a fully natural render available for $5 and higher tier supporters!

Thank you very much, now it works perfectly and I can continue from chapter 1 instead of restarting because obviously steam saves are incompatible with non steam game (not that it would have been a problem to enjoy the story again).

That's the risk with doing a prequel. Personally, I'm not opposed to there being a canon path through MNMTB that lines up nicely with MNM, as well as a bunch of non-canon fanservice and extra LI. But if K7 goes that route, I would enjoy if canon choices were marked
