As the title says, today we have the "old" Bethany, so the one you see in the main game, dressed in a very sexy secretary outfit... I really like how the skirt looks on her, and the shirt as well of course. Might be a little cold in the office though, from what I can tell.

Hello there you wonderful and very wholesome people!

Another week, another progress update!

This one will be a rather short one since I took the time after last weeks Chapter 2 release of My New Memories: The Beginning to wind down a little after a rather stressful cycle in terms of writing and rendering. That doesn't mean I didn't do anything though of course, since I shifted over to My New Family 2 as you guys know. I'm in the process of preparing the first characters in Honey Select 2, the engine I might use for My New Family 2. Keep in mind, My New Family was released in 2019, during a time where a lot of Visual Novels started to use this engine. I know I created the beloved characters in Honey Select 1 but I'm hopeful that whatever I try to create in Honey Select 2 will make you people happy as well. Todays render is just Jackie from the prequel in the hotel room!

Since Lucy has been the fan favorite ever since the release ( she has the most reaction roles on Discord, for example ) I will start with her, like I announced a few times by now. Like I said several times by now as well, if you guys end up disliking Honey Select 2 too much, I don't mind continuing My New Family 2 in Honey Select 1 - The game would look like it did in the Christmas special. The pro's outweight the con's for me to work with HS2, though, since it constantly gets new mods ported over and its just technically more advanced ( which means better animations etc ). But yeah, this is something I will figure out this month and share it with you guys!

And I think thats it already. Sorry that there is not much else to share at the moment. If anything new comes up regarding my files I'll update you right away, of course. I'm figuring something out that will hopefully have a positive effect on the whole thing. Until then, stay awesome!

i played the prequel before i this one and some things dont really add up if i had to compare this and new beginnings to another game i would have to say life is strange and before the storm cause its so similar

while playing this after playing the prequel it makes me wonder what happened to all the events that took play in new beginning like the shocking discovery of being related to katherina and lea. what happened to jackie, amelie, rei. im eagerly waiting for chapter 3 to drop so see where things go after that

hey guy's em i doing something wrong or what, i've downloaded version 4.5 which is the latest up here but the game kind of end's when My wife Anna wake's up and then the give's me a preview of chapter 4 talking with sabrina and then she get's naked and that's it it ends there, go's back to the main menu like wtf why does it say's it's version 4.5 up here but it isn't really em i missing something?, where is chapter 4?

Your confusion seems to stem from the mismatch of version numbers and chapter numbers.

It's because v0.1 was only the prologue. Then v0.2 added ch.1, v0.3 added ch.2 and so on.

And I think she is wearing a pretty cute outfit as well. I feel like we haven't seen enough of Rei yet and she is probably one of my favorite characters I made. Her and the gingers strike a weak spot for me and seeing her midriff like that just makes me appreciate her even more.

I don't have much to share sadly, since I got hit with the man flu last week and I've been basically being a little baby in bed ( if you are a man you know how it feels when you get the cold ). I was still writing some more for My New Family 2 and also for Chapter 4 of the main game, while working on some bugfixes for the prequel as well. I decided to make a render with Bethany today, the "old" Bethany from the main game, where she is at a nice looking pool with the MC. This might be something you see in a later chapter of My New Memories, where the MC and his family will go on a vacation!

I have been thinking a lot about the main game lately and while the next release will be My New Family 2, I still hope that sometime in early 2026, you guys also get to play Chapter 4 of My New Memories. Like I said a few times by now, the script is at like 70% completion already and all that will be left are the renders - Which will take time, but not as much as one might think ( especially since I will most likely upgrade to a second pc again soon ). It all depends on how things go in the following weeks where my lawyer prepared another, more serious proposal for the state attorney where a judge might get involved to look over my stuff. It all depends on how they view it in the end, but since My New Memories , My New Memories: The Beginning and My New Family are available on sites that have pretty strict rules regarding certain content, I'm confident they will come to the same conclusion. I mean, not everyone has to like what I do, but nothing is illegal in what I'm doing.

And I think thats it for now, people. Sorry for the super short progress update, I'm slowly recovering from the man flu ( I know I know, it's just a cold ), the symptoms started last wednesday so I think I'll be fully recovered on.. Wednesday, I hope. If anything new comes up I'll let you guys know. Until then, stay awesome!
