This story really resonated with me and was one of the few that were part of my introduction to AVN. It was a heart breaking story that of what happened to you and having the police take all your computer hardware. The devastating effect it has had and the association that "My New Memories" has to that event, must be a hard thing to let go of. This is such a wonderfully told story and held my interest from beginning to what has become an end that isn't. I truly wish for you to come to terms with the simple idea that your dream still has a chance to be realized, and I hope you find the strength to move past the pain and find a way back to completing this wonderful story. I know that not only I, but all your fans will truly appreciate this story fully realized.

Hello there you wonderful and super wholesome people!

Another week, another progress update!

The writing on Chapter 2 is fully done, all the animations are done and I'm now rendering the last few events to release Chapter 2. I don't have a set date yet, but it will be 100% this week, most likely towards the weekend for supporters and then a few days later for everyone else. If you were a supporter in october but decided to cancel your pledge, shoot me a message once Chapter 2 is done and I will message you the download link - Since the plan was to release it last month, not this month. I really hope the content you get to play and the events you get to experience will be worth the long wait, but you can be the judge of that. Todays render shows Lea again, blushing in her room, while her and the MC have a talk about some rather intimate topics. Lea is such an interesting character to me personally and I can't wait to hear your feedback regarding the big reveal at the end of chapter 2!

Like I mentioned last week, after Chapter 2 is out I will fully transition to My New Family 2. I personally would want to continue working on My New Memories, but since I still don't have my assets back and because I got a lot of requests to work on My New Family 2, I will be doing that. If, however, I will get my stuff back during the time I work on MNF2, I will finish Chapter 4 of the main game first, since I'm already like 70% done with writing there and only the renders and animations are missing. Still, I have something to show for regarding MNF2 soon, a character I have been working on in HS2. I will most likely make this a public choice in the end, if I should witch over too HS2 or HS1, but I think once you see how the HS2 versions of certain characters look you will most likely prefer the latter as well. Like I said a few times by now, please keep an open mind regarding things and don't shout "No hs2 please" until you at least saw one of the characters I made. After that it's fair play of course and you can tell me how much you hate it, haha.

And I think thats it for now. I'll make another post as soon as Chapter 2 is ready for release, so stay tuned if you are a supporter ( or plan to support ) to get a few days of early access to it! If anything new comes up I'll let you guys know, until then, stay awesome!

So I mostly ignored the OP and played this through, since it apparently had a good amount of content. Was pleasantly surprised- what a way to end Chapter 3, too. Then I came back to the thread to try and figure out what the future holds for the game. Except the OP includes a msg from 2024 saying development is paused and yet the last update is dated -after- that msg, which is confusing.

So, and please correct me if I'm wrong but if I understand what's going on- the dev "lost his assets" (?!) and stopped developing Memories for the last year and a half, started developing a prequel to this game (did anyone ask for a prequel to an unfinished story?); he's now finishing an update for said prequel and once he's done with that he'll start working on a sequel. To another game. Meaning MNM is basically kaput. Is that accurate? Because if so, that is bananas, especially considering the amount of content this game already has.

That doesn't seem so reasonable anymore.

In any case, is there hope of development being restarted on Memories? Because I really enjoyed the dynamics between characters so far. Not often you play a type of MC who isn't trying to jump everyone's bones to an almost comedic extent.

Just do what S1 suggested and read up on what has happened, it will make a lot more sense to you then.

I decided to make a render using the "Old" Sabrina model, also known as the Sabrina you see in the main game. I still feel like she is one of the best girls I created so far, with such a unique face and those green eyes... Truly one of my favorite characters!

Hello there you wonderful and extremely wholesome people!

Another month, another week, another progress update!

This one will be a little shorter, I hope that is alright

Chapter 2 of My New Memories: The Beginning has finally released and so far what I gathered from comments is that most of you enjoyed what you got to play! Todays render shows Sabrina, just a few moments before the big reveal of Chapter 2. And then that ending...I wonder who is calling MC at this time, especially after he got these very shocking news from Bethany ( I know I know, it was very predictable ).

Now that Chapter 2 is out I will transition over to My New Family 2 while also considering making scenes with the recreated models. I kinda gave myself a new deadline in terms of getting a response from my lawyer and the state attorney, so once that passes, I will start using those recreated models to finish Chapter 4. There is no real worst case scenario here, if I get my stuff back ( and I will get it back ), I will have to remake all of those scenes with the original characters, which will take time but it's not the end of the world ( it's basically just load the scene, import the old models and use the same pose the new ones used ). But I will have more feedback regarding that soon. I will also start posting previews for My New Family 2 characters I'm working on, both in Honey Select 1 ( that you see in My New Family 1 ) and Honey Select 2 ( which I'm considering using for MNF2 ). I will most likely try to find someone who can port the house I use in honey select 1 to honey select 2 and see how that will work out - But I will have more news on that once it actually happens.

And I feel like thats it for now, people. Sorry that this is a rather short progress update but with the full release of chapter 2 being yesterday, there is not that much to share yet! If you haven't played Chapter 2 of My New Memories: The Beginning yet, it's out on the internet and on Steam etc! If anything new comes up I'll let you guys know, until then, stay awesome!

I was hoping to see more of Lina, my fav girl, and Morgan/Angel (TG version).

For me personally, it's Yukiko. I guess most people would have thought Anna, but it's actually Yukiko. I enjoyed writing that event she has with the MC so much in the new house.
