I've played a lot of games with fantastic slideshow animations. It's not about the amount of frames but about how well the motion is executed and the knowledge of the artist regarding movements. Really skilled artist will outperform mediocre 60 FPS renders with their slideshows.

So to me it's more important that there's a huge ton of scenes in motion, can be subtle but very well executed motion.

Regarding your first question, 30 animated scenes in 3 years isn't a good ratio imo. That's 6 weeks for 1 animation - way too slow. So I assume this is another game where the dev forgot he's making a porn game. Now he can flex with "5 million written letters" but there's only 30 animations yet.

Anyway, each their own.

Wow, you really know nothing at all about this game or it's development.

Also, this isn't a cheap fap fest game. Quality over quantity comes to mind here.

It's a porn game no matter how you phrase it. If I want to play a great story I look at triple A publishers who do that a thousand times better, like Quantic Dream. Or even indie game developers if you will, but who really focus on the story experience and aren't busy with over-animating extremely high quality complex sex scenes for their game with "no focus on sex". If the entire sex part is a letdown because it's just a side thing, it's not necessary.

But like I said, each their own. Different games for different folks. Keep enjoying the game.

Simply put, your "My New" stories are some of the best I've read.
Still surprises me that I found myself misty-eyed during the wedding scene in My New Family

Your novels have plenty of sexy in them, that fits naturally into the story, and while I certainly enjoy the lewd scenes they are not the focus or even the best part of your work. The heartfelt affection, humor, and cheeky family atmosphere are all excellent.
