From what I understand, K7 was reported to the cops accused of having child abuse material in his games, the cops seized his computer and hard drives to search for this illegal material. No such material was found, but as the person who made the false report as since fled the country, prevent the cops from arresting them, the cops are trying their hardest to find anything to catch K7 on even if they're not the original charges, simply so their time wasn't completely wasted.

K7 is currently waiting for the investigation to be concluded so he can get all his stuff back and fully return to development as before

K7 is currently working on a prequel to this game that takes place in MCs college years I believe

The case itself is a little more nuanced but for obvious reasons I can't talk too much about things that are basically only for me and my lawyer.

But the main thing is that I got mugged/robbed in August 2023 by 5 people. The court case against them started in march 2024 but before the opening, the main suspect ( the whone that is also framing me ) fled to Thailand. His 4 friends were sentenced to long jail times in May, but they are still trying to get the main dude to come back to Germany ( or get him in Thailand, which is difficult because Thailand and Germany don't have that weird treity thing ).

The initial investigation was because of crypto scam but then a certain police woman noticed how much money I make and what I do to get it and she started to look into this thing more. The laws in Germany are pretty easy regarding this, though. My lawyer explained it to me but since Characters like Olivia are not sexualized ( she is nude when I load her into DAZ3D but she has no genitals ), it will be fine. I could even have fully nude rendered pictures of Olivia on my harddrive or in the game and it would be fine, since those are clearly 3d renders with no remarks to a real life person at all. It will be an interesting case against me in general because I don't think they have a lot of experience with 3d renders, they are basing most of their shit on real life stuff. The jist is that even regarding real life pictures, you could *technically* have stuff like this on your harddrives/phone if they are under the age of 18, as long as the focus is not on the genitals or they are being sexualized. Like... Art nudity, I guess? Which is hella fucking weird, don't get me wrong, but that's how the law works here.

It doesn't help that some absolute nutcases like the dude who dropped the last review here say shit like "they look 13, what the fuck you weirdo" etc. I said this several times, if you think the characters look younger than they are, that's fine, I don't really care. But don't try to insert you weird narrative ( you see a character like Sophie and immediately think of a child ) into the actual story. The characters are portrayed ingame with their canon age. They do things and behave the way according to their age ingame. Hell, I define the ages and they are my creations, that should be everything you need to know. Stick to your headcannon if you disagree, but stop trying to force it onto everyone because you are the weirdo.

But yes, in general I'm okay. The shit that happened last tuesday is still pretty traumatizing but I'm slowly getting over it with the help of a real life friend. My lawyer also said that "No news is sometimes good news" if you are accused of certain crimes.

Edit: Oh, one more thing. The investigating police officer reads my patreon posts etc. I dont know if she reads here but yeah... I wish I could share more with you guys, but not until things are a little clearer.

Seems to me that if three of the "fantastic four" that accused were already found guilty of their own crimes, and the fourth is out of country and unable to be extradited, that their case against you is defunct. They wouldn't even be able to show up to testify. At this point, you might try having your sick lawyer put some pressure on the authorities, as they appear to be flailing in the dark now. Besides - they can always just make images of your data for records/evidence if they need, and return the originals.

I don't know if there is a legal concept of lost earnings in Germany. Due to the slowness of the police, you are constantly losing income. They can be sued for your losses.

Even if you do eventually get anything back, it might not be usable, either because of mistreatment of your things or just age, because it's sounding like this investigation can take as long as the police want it to take whether it's justified or not. Whatever that would mean for your plans for work, it might be better to start planning for that outcome both mentally and practically.

I get that this is a huge loss of years worth of work. It's a catastrophic blow to your business. But I think from a mental health perspective and a work flow perspective, it would be more productive to just assume that you'll never see that data again and decide how you'd want to proceed from there and start working in that direction. In business relationships, it sometimes happens that you end up in situations like this where a business partner/client/supplier/whatever is kinda holding your project(s) hostage by not delivering what you need when you need it and not telling you when it will be delivered. It will be more stressful, time consuming, and expensive to operate your business according to someone else's uncommunicated timeline than to cut your losses and assume you won't be able to get what you were supposed to get from them at all and either replan your projects around that assumption, or even just write off the projects as losses and move on to new ones.

This has clearly been a traumatising ordeal. I think deciding how you and your business will move forward for yourself on your own terms, rather than at the whim of all those other people and groups that have shown no consideration for your wellbeing, will help you start to get back to your normal life again, despite still being embroiled in these horrible circumstances

I mean, you make it sound like im just sitting around waiting for them to give me my stuff back. Thats not true, though. Why do you think I started to work on a prequel for mnm? And I also still have mnf2 to work on after that if it still takes longer. So no, im not going to give up because thats literally the worst thing one could do right now. It doesnt matter how long it takes to me, as long as there is a sliver of hope left I get my data back, I will stick to it. And I will get it back, its just a matter of time. And no, my stuff wont be broken or corrupted etc. Like I said, they work with mirrored copies of my drives, not the original stuff.

So yeah, I have things to work on that keep me mentally occupied and that allow me to continue what I love to do.
