Another week, another progress update!
Let's jump right into the games again!
I finally released a playable demo for the My New Memories prequel and so far the feedback has been super positive. I'm really glad that you guys enjoyed the first look at this upcoming prequel of My New Memories, where you get to know the MC before he reunited with Anna. I'm very happy to see that some of you already have a few favorites - Especially Katharina and Rei seem to be gathering a lot of love. I get it with Katharina, though, a big booba ginger milf always works after all, right? There will be a lot of things you will discover in the prequel that have a direct relations to stuff that happened in the main game - Especially certain kinks the MC developed. While Anna was the enabler for most of his love life later on, he also gathered some experience with other girls, something Anna most likely wished for him when she had to leave with her family. It's kinda good that I never wrote that the MC had his first time with Anna - Now I have a little more leverage regarding his love life ( of course Anna had her first time with the MC and profitted greatly from his experience, and when he shared that knowledge with Anna you can probably imagine how she felt, given her kink ). Still, I'm super relieved that the demo got so much positive feedback, it eased my mind even more since the supporters played it. Getting as much feedback as possible while working on this is so important to me, so thank you for that. I can't wait for the full first release which should be rather soon! Todays render is Bethany in the kitchen with the MC, where she explains to him why Sabrina behaves a certain way around him lately.
I also have some rather positive news regarding my work on Chapter 4 for the maingame. I have to admit that I... Kinda lost my way with it for quite some time. It was very, very difficult for me to get into writing consistently for the main game again, because I felt like I forgot where I was mentally. It might have been all the trouble with the police in August, I'm not one hundred percent sure, but I started writing more again these last few weeks and got into a really good state of mind with it. I guess it makes sense that I lost my way since it has been over a year since the last update and the release of chapter 3. Still, you have no idea how happy I am that I can my work on it like I used to, more or less. Losing your way mid development is pretty scary, because I was reading the start of Chapter 4 again and thought to myself "Remember that you had to rewrite all of this because of what got taken from you? Is it as good as your original concept?" and a lot of other, worse things. Some of you maybe know how it feels to lose your way with something you are very, very passionate about, and hopefully all of you also found your way back to it again. If you need any help regarding that, don't hesitate to shoot me a DM, I'm more than happy to share with you what helped me in the end.

I don't think they're supposed to be connected? (I think of the news reports as being from a station broadcasting from another dimension ...)
They absoultely are in the same universe (assuming you mean MNF and MNM (I'm a little ill rn, so having a hard time parsing context properly)). Both Becca and the MNM MC have mutually inspired each other (though not entirely explicitly, Becca mentions an architect using psuedonyms to design old buildings, and in MNM, Samantha mentions that her apartment was designed by Becca (though again, not by name), those are just the examples off the top of my head).
In MNF, it's implied (through some context given in MNM) that Samantha was the one who managed to dig up the information/letter from the MC's grandparents too.
There's also mentions of Maddie's yoga channel (at least it's implied to be her) that she's planning on setting up in MNM, and of Alice (I think, can't remember if it's her or Lucy) having a half-german half-japanese friend who went through some tough times (alluding to the MNM MC's amnesia).
The only inconsistency I can find (which might be easily reconsilable if I actually tried to do the work) is that both stories seem to take place in each other's future, though I could be wrong about that as it's dependant on what "tough times" were being referenced in the scene I was talking about a paragraph up. MNM is probably in MNF's future though, cos of Maddie's yoga thing.
Having said all that, the concept of location and time are vague at best in K7's stories, and while assumptions can be made, nothing concrete is explictly stated.

Ugh. I played the demo for the prequel (which wasn't nearly enough, lol), thought someone in there was from the main game oh is that so-and-so, so I started playing the main game to see (spoiler it wasn't), but by then I was sucked in again and so just played the whole fricking game through again. So many emotions, so many ups and downs.
I wouldn't know how to even do it, but I would love to hire people to protest outside the building the hard drives are in or where the officer is that's holding them hostage, lol. Wouldn't help, might hurt, but...man, so annoyed that the game can't go on for so long due to this (I mean, I know, nowhere near as annoyed and more that Killer7 is, but still).

that receptionist from the prequel demo had me thinking she goes underground when there is none there, then rises up on a elevator platform. only cause her desk is just a seamless circle.

Another week, another progress update!
Nothing new to report, sadly, so I will just jump right into the games.
As some of you may have noticed I wasn't able to release a playable version for the supporters yet, which should include at least the full third day of the prequel, without animations. I told you guys it would be ready 100% and I failed to deliver, so I'm really sorry for that. But that also means that if you were a supporter through the month of September, you will get this release 100000000% in october, even if you stopped supporting already. Just send me a DM as soon as the post goes up that says that the version is ready to be played and I'll send you the download links - No strings attached. It's my failure and there is no reason you guys should suffer for it, especially if you only supported through september because you wanted to play it early. So none of you will have to feel left out, you get to play it as soon as it's ready. Everyone else will get to play it once I have finished the animations, which will hopefully not take too long, depending on if I add that extra lewd scene on the last day or not.
Speaking of the prequel, I think I found a pretty good balance in terms of lewd and cute content again. I think I already teased a nice sauna event with two gingers, but I think I'll add a little more to the evening that will make a lot of people happy that like Sabrina. Sabrina is also in todays render, it's their long talk in the ice cream parlor where they will have a very emotional exchange regarding a lot of things. Their (possible) future together, how things will work out regarding MCs relationship with a certain girl and of course they also talk about Manny, their father. It's a pretty long event, probably one of the longest in the prequel so far, but it's also very important for the main game later on, because it will explain a lot of things that only briefly get mentioned there. I'm more or less done with the script, I just want to put some finishing touches on the date the MC has with Rei and then a super cute night event with Lea and Sabrina, which will possibly be end with something very lewd, I'm not one hundred percent sure yet. It will involve Lea and the MC mainly, but Sabrina will most likely also play a role, since those three are as close to each other as they can be.
Speaking of the main game, you have no idea how happy I am that I found my "flow" for writing again there too. There has been one event that I was anticipating for a while, ever since I showed you guys Karla and the ginger twins, so I'm super happy that I'm more or less done with this event as well. I kinda want to show that Karla means as much to MC as Bethany does, even though they are not in "the same boat", if you know what I mean. He calls her the same as he does with Bethany and emotionally, she is just on the same level. Which also means that their relationship will most likely go in the same direction, which will probably make a lot of people happy that enjoy gingers with big boobs. I feel like I made a few of them recently, with Karla and Katharina from the prequel probably taking the cake ( literally ).
And I think thats it for now. I deeply apologize that I wasn't able to release the next prequel beta for supporters yet, but like I said above, if you have been supporting to september ( and maybe even august ), then you can just send me a DM as soon as I made the post where I announce that its now out for supporters. Until then, stay awesome people and like always ,I'll update you as soon as I learn anything that I can share regarding my case!
Yeah big mess up on my side there and no excuses that the prequel is not out yet. Been slacking off lately, so sorry about that.

Killer7, With what you have been going through with the Polizi and the courts it's understandable from my viewpoint so don't be so hard on yourself and keep your chin up.
