All Im saying to this is that times can always change ( the post is from june 2021 after all, right when the game released ) and that this is one of the few things I wouldnt spent too many thoughts on. As long as I dont have my shit back we aint lewding anyone anyway. Well, except Sabrina a little in the prequel, I guess.

Oh, I don't think my message came across as intended, so my apologies if that has been the case. I'm fully aware of K7 work, I've already played MNF, so it's not about having an issue with "family fun" at all or not wanting for it to happen. Like I said, big fan of wincest, especially when done right.
I just don't like that the lewdness with Sabrina has already happened in the past, and that there's already an established dynamic between her, Anna and the MC. That's something that I would've been much more comfortable if I had been able to choose it, instead of the story telling me "well, this happened, and you're totally ok with it because you're always ok with everything Anna wants." I also remember that back in MNF Sandra was the harem enabler, so I don't know (yet) if there's a character with the same role in MNM, or if it has more freedom in that regard.
As for Olivia, what I mean is that I don't mind at all if she doesn't end up lewd. Hell, as an incest fan, I don't mind if any of my precious daughters are lewded. But I've recently just started Chapter 1, so I don't know how things will unfold. I'm not picky about wanting every single female character to be a LI in the end if it fits the story right. I'll catch up with the content as soon as possible and then see how everything goes from there. The game's fantastic.

There is a prequel to MNM that is going through the backstory and explains a lot including what i think you are looking for, think the 3rd or 4th beta for it is out but not sure the version number.

I get what you're saying, but you have to look at the setting and the premise of the story. If that's something that bothers you to the point you're worried about the future of the game, I'm suspect you're going to have more struggles to deal with.
I don't think any characters will be forced on you (except maybe Anna) in the game, but the "hook" of the game is the MC rediscovering all the relationships he can't remember he had.
There's definitely going to be more than just Sabrina who you meet that will have a prior intimate relationship with him.

Oh, I'm not worried at all, like I said, I'm LOVING the game, so I don't want to give the wrong idea that I'm complaining or anything of the sorts.
The special case with Sabrina is that not only is she involved with the MC, she's involved with Anna as well. I mean, I don't think I misunderstood that it's supposed to be a throuple, Anna asks Sabrina to clean her cum-covered face, Lena says that Anna has the hots for Sabrina, and the latter tells you that both the MC and Anna are the most important people in her life. I guess I'm just used to only the MC having an intimate past with someone "outside" of Anna, like with Lena (and like you said, possibly with others), so this situation of an already established throuple is a new one for me. I'm never opposed to the idea of them, but I usually want to see how the dynamic is first and then choose if I want to go through them, rather than having one pre-established.
I'm honestly liking how the story is unfolding, to the point in which I'm thinking about doing three different PTs: one in which I go blinded, and choose who I want to get involved with or not; another one with all the LIs; and another in which, if possible, the MC won't get involved with anyone and just wait for Anna, although I don't know what would happen after that seeing how kinky she is
I'm enjoying the game so much that I don't mind not having a PT with any lewd content at all (outside of memories).

Hello there you wonderful and very wholesome people!
Another week, another progress update!
Well, the script is finally fully done and I'm fully focusing on renders now. It's not going to be that many, I think ( and hope ), so I'm hopeful the next beta might be ready this weekend - I'm doing my best. I'm super happy that I needed less than a month to finish this part, but I think I can still do it faster without sacrficing content. Todays render shows Bethany and Lea during the evening. The MC had a longer talk with Sabrina before where they talk about this and that, if you remember, and now he'll talk to Bethany a little bit before it's time to go to bed. I decided to not do a similar event like I did in the last beta for the night ( if you played it you know what I mean ), so it will just be a regular night time ( with Lea and Sabrina, if you decided to go that route ). After this, I'm 2/3rd done with Chapter 2 and I think the last day will be the most eventful so far, especially in terms of "Lewd things". Still, that evening talk with Bethany will contain a lot of emotional and heartfelt moments that those two didn't share for a while, so you can look foward to that!
Speaking of the curly haired ginger lady, I decided to give her some love in Chapter 4 of the main game as well. You all remember how things turned out in Chapter 3 with her and what her and the MC did. I also mentioned that Bethany might need a little more persuasion to fully embrace her feelings. The MC is not going to pressure her ( something that will make a lot of sense if you played Chapter 2 of the prequel eventually ) and I already said that he has to convince her a little. The thing is, the MC can't keep this a secret and Bethany doesn't expect him to. With Anna being awake, she has to know...And she might want to have to say in this as well. If there is one person in the My New Memories universe that could convince Bethany a little easier, it's Anna. Those two have been as close as they can be given their relationship, so she will eventually be there to talk about it too. And who knows where this might lead...We all know she is a crazy half German half Japanese woman.
And I think thats it again for now. I'm in contact with my lawyer again and I hope to have some more news in the next few days or weeks. We have been kinda radio silent in the hopes that the state attorney might respond then, but it looks like we might have to pursue a different route ( involving something that forces them to respond in a way, I don't really know how to say it in english ). Until then, stay awesome!

It doesn't really matter. Both games are not finished. And there is a chance that they will develop in parallel.

Another week, another progress update!
This week will be the 6 year Anniversary of the first ever game release from me. On August 31st 2019 I posted My New Family 0.1 on the internet and I will have my usual anniversary post coming up on that day, so stay tuned for that!
Let's talk about the games!
As some of you may have noticed, the next Beta for the prequel released yesterday for $15 and higher tier supporters. If you want to play this beta right away, you can do so if you are in the right tier and join the Discord ( I can also DM you the links, though ). This beta will be available for $5 and higher tier supporters this week, most likely on wednesday ( same might go for Steam ). So far the feedback I have gotten made me pretty happy, since most of you amazing people are still confused what the hell might have happened between Bethany and Katharina. Katharina is also in todays progress update render, where she has a more serious talk with the MC regarding something he did the day before. She is not very happy with him but also not too strict, but it's still interesting to see Katharina like that ( especially if you consider what they did before if you followed a certain path with her ). I'm already working on the next part of Chapter 2 and I'm very happy it took me less than a month to release this beta. I'll try to release the next one even faster, I'll keep you posted regarding that!
While I finished up the latest beta, I also invested some more time into My New Family 2. It's interesting for me to write stuff about MNF2 without even having finalized what kind of engine I want to use for the characters and stuff. It's still up in the air, but writing up the story is usually more difficult than coming up with renders, at least for me. I started to write a cute morning dialogue with one of the tennants and the MC, but it's nothing concrete yet. More concrete stuff is in the works for My New Memories Chapter 4 though, but that would be too much of a spoiler. Let's just say it involves Sarah in a very interesting way ( again ). That's all I'm going to say.
I also got an email from my lawyer that we are trying to get a response from the state attorney again. I asked a few AIs ( chatgpt etc ) why the state attorneys are so slow here and the most common answer is "understaffed and too much to do". I feel like that is a super weak excuse for something that happened almost 2 years ago, but okay. I'll keep you guys posted on that.
And I think thats it for now, guys. If anything new comes up I'll let you guys know asap. Until then, enjoy the beta if you are a supporter and stay awesome!

The law enforcement of his home nation seized some of his stuff (don't know the specifics on why but it was some dumb reason) with a lot of his work on it, so he hasn't been able to work on the game in a long time as he is fighting to get it back. Been a while since I've kept up with it, but that was the basics of what was up when the game first got delayed a long time ago.

believe he got caught up in a case and they took his equipment a couple of years ago and is still trying to the stuff back. it had alot of his AVN stuff on it.

well considering most answers thus-far have being a little to vague ill try to add a bit more context.
basicly as far as i remember it:
Killer got implicated in a crypto scam as a scapegoat.
he had his hardware confiscated due to a investigation into that crypto scam case.
although he has been cleared off not being part off the crypto scam.
the german police/judicial system has yet to return his hardware and that hardware has 1 or 2 Storage device's where his assets for the VN are on(certain models which are heavenly modified and would require lots off time to redesign to just look a like and would hard to really 100% recreate)
As to why the hardware has yet to be returned i can't really remember and am a bit unsure about but its likely due to multiple things :slow bureaucracy,the ongoing court case's (in which his hardware was seized as evidence) and my personal theory that the officer who checked the hardware is trying(tried) to create a new case based on possible depiction off a minor in a sexual way.
all in all killer had hard time in the start with the whole ordeal but has since recovered and later on decided to create the "prolouge" my new memories: the beginning to keep on working on his VN's.
yes we don't have all the details about his court case which is normal as talking publicly about a ongoing case is likely to do more damage then anything else so details are vague or don't get shared at all.
