I have to admit, I'm not really a medical expert, I was just going by what "feels" right. I remember when I was in the hospital they made me do most of my stuff on my own because I was able to ( though I didn't have amnesia ). They didn't even bring me water to drink, I had to get it myself from the station :(.
yipes, i just had my appendix removed a little less than a week ago, and there was always at least 2-3 nurses on call for around 6 different patients or so. and i got pampered as fuck with room service with hospital food that you could actually eat and enjoy! escorts when requested for literally everything even trips to the bathroom. hell even some machine massage things attached to my bed! (and i'm on state & federal health care not paying out of pocket!)

whatever hospital you went to should fire their nursing staff!:HideThePain:

It depends on the hospital staffing levels and type of injury. You likely had stitches you were in danger of tearing and were grouped in with other patients requiring similar levels of care.

Yeah it really does depend on your level of injury. When i've gone in for kidney stones it usually is more inbetween. Due to my level of pain there and such, a lot of time they'll check within every hour for me. Hooked to an iv etc.. So can't really get up and go to bathroom or out of room easily either so that's why.

THough other side I've been there where the nurses don't seem to ever be around. (for other reasons in hospital)

I thought was a little odd he went off on his own to the therapist or what not but to be honest, since he is pretty much released at that point if memory serves? Also wouldn't surprise me if they don't care as much. But at least in usa, hospitals half the time are more business than health care. Sooooo that could be a deciding factor too.

(My grandmother was a Registered Nurse, but she worked in rehab so there was always least 2 nurses round the clock for entire floor. Always. But again that was rehab, people that couldn't move on their own, etc..)

So overall i'd say it probably isn't THAT far off from truth in some cases.

I had a abscess removed, which usually means you only have to stay one night. But since they diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes as well I had to stay 5 days so they can get my blood sugar regulated again with meds. So because I was able to walk freely ( the abscess was just under my left breast and had to be surgically removed, had a giant hole there for like 3 months ) they told me to do everything on my own. Though one of the nurses had to take blood from my fingertip every 2 hours, even in the middle of the night, for 2 days. That wasn't fun :D.

I kinda projected that into MNM as well, where the MC can walk on his own and doesn't need a wheelchair etc. A bit of independency, I guess. Maybe it depends on the doctors and nurses but in this case it felt just like the right thing to do.

I did the same after my accident. First week they wheeled me around because I couldn't walk at all, but as soon as I could move, somewhat, I told them I'll just do it on my own (stupid pride).

It was quite similar with my type 1. Pricking in the fingers, plus catheters in both arms for the first few days and then only in one arm. But there was not much sleep anyway, because one of at least two very special patients was in the same room with me. I definitely have to say that our protagonist John had it even very good. I had to listen to a nurse telling me that I was responsible for my diabetes (type 1 is genetic and therefore an autoimmune disease) and another nurse gave me the pills one morning for another patient who was about 80+. I don't know if I was incredibly unlucky or you and Johnny boy were very lucky. What I can say is that the latter case was very dangerous and careless.

In any case, I can also understand John's children with their dislike for hospitals - even outside my own experience. It's probably the nature of the thing. Statistically, people are less likely to be in hospitals for pleasant reasons than for negative reasons.

What may be a bit strange in the plot is that John got out of the hospital so quickly. I was there for 8 days and was probably only discharged because the first covid wave was just starting. But well, I chalk that up to narrative license. You can't tell a good story like that if the protagonist is in the hospital for the first few updates. When in doubt, we just explain it away by saying that the hospital needed the extra beds.

I was in a room with two older dudes and one of them had a chair he could sit in to poop since he wasn't able to make it to the toilet on his own. So once in the middle of the night he was sitting by the open window ( it was in August 2017 ) and just pooping away, putting the smell into the whole room. Poor nurse had to come and clean him at like 3am or so, that wasn't fun.

The way that was framed, it looks like you're referring to the hospital story as "Cuteness overload."

LOL. Well... Nah. Not into that sort of kink. Though... Never mind. Maybe if it was a She and a redhead (specially if it was Lucy or Little Alice) and it was waterworks. Hmm... Maybe.

I'm picturing Mr. Roshi's nurse in Sunshine Love...
Yeah, probably a good time to only quote what you were responding to in order to avoid confusion. :ROFLMAO:

Hello there you wonderful and very attractive people in the world!

Another week, another progress update!

As some of you may have noticed I was able to release Beta 1 on the weekend. And I already started to deliver on my promise, we got a very lewd and very wholesome event with Elaine, probably one of the best lewd scenes we got so far! I'll do my best to release day 2 this week, no promises though.
Work on day 2 has already begun and I have a good idea on what I want to do for this day. This one will probably be a Sandy, Becca and Mary day, but I'm not sure yet. Like I said, I want to give Becca, Mary and Elaine some more events to shine! Oh, and I think it's time we finally get to know the weebs a little better...

Work on My New Memories has been going very well. As I'm writing this progress update the last renders are being made. After that I just have to check if I missed some ( which is likely, it will be over 310 renders just for that day ) and then I just have to apply the fixes my proofreader found and a little bit of coding. Should not be too much so if you are a Sabrina or higher patron, join the discord to grab the beta as soon as it's available ( which will 100% be sometimes this week ). I can't wait to hear your feedback regarding this day since it's so packed with story related stuff. And since I also wanted to deliver on another promise, it will also contain some wholesome and slightly lewd moments with two girls that the MC already knows too well. From this point going forward there probably only be real lewd scenes, no more dream flashbacks. So, like I said, if you want to play the beta and you are pledged to the correct tier, join the discord, that's the place where they will be posted!

I know that I forgot to make the poll on patreon last week, but I will catch up to that this week and I will also make a little post over on steam to talk about the progress update for My New Memories in general. Sorry about that, the last week just has been pretty stressful I guess.

And I think that's it for this week. Patrons, pay attention on discord and here ( regarding My New Family ) and for the upcoming poll. I hope you guys have an amazing week and I'll see you for the next post! Stay awesome!
