Pretty sure it's because the creator is your typical WEG creator that drip-feeds content to keep the cash-flow going on people's sub money. They have no incentive on ever finishing their game. That's why I rarely care about WEG games.

And unlike other devs who actually produce content (good or bad, at least they *try* damnit), this fuckers had so little progression from year to year that it may as well be none at all. I mean, shit, it's taken the dude almost 3 years to put out just over 10K words. Honestly, at this point, to anyone still giving this dude money, you deserve to be scammed.

Because that's what this is now. A scam.

3 years is 1,095 days, if my quick math is right. So... that's basically 9.99 words written per day. Added up their SubscribeStar subs and it's 745 dollars per month. For writing 300 words a month. Their patreon seems to have been shut down, but they were probably making a lot more back when it was still up. For 10 words a day (Edit: Apparently most of that is changing a paragraph or two for old scenes???). How are people still paying for this?
