What are you talking about? The point of these things is to put yourself in the shoes of the MC in the story. Thats why you get options to pick what the MC does. You're the one playing as the MC.
The good thing about making choices is that you can also choose what content to see and not to see.
Yeah it's kind of hilarious how much energy has been expended on the topic. Cyan Capsule let us choose whether or not the zebra was a futa because some people wouldn't want to even see that. Pretty sure if there was an option for that, there would be an option for whether or not Emelie would be interested in other people after a relationship was started with the MC.Lotta stink being made about an image that's not even confirmed to be in the game... if you were familiar with CyanCapsule's work you'd already know about that character, and for the direction the narration of this novel is taking, it's more likely that the character's use would either be an option, or it won't be a thing at all.

To be fair these characters are older than the game. Figure he likes them, wants to see his characters in different ways, ya know?
He is a hentai artist who has created many characters over the years, amelie has been around since 2015, so about a year and a half ago he decided to create a game and reused some of his characters, the comics are not "side stories" of the game because despite being the same characters they are not in the same universe, that comic for example is from 2020 so it has nothing to do with the game. He actually created some new characters like Billy, Rolf and Bronwen and will probably create more.
unless the new update breaks old saves, you should be able to just copy the new files over the old ones. Ren'py games store their saves in %appdata%/renpy so you should be fine.
I think it's because the furry community seem to have bottomless wallets and don't get catered to as much in the mainstream.

Was the gallery unlocked before you updated? it should be in the same state it was as before the update, just like the rest of your saves. The flag to unlock the gallery is part of the persistent file, so that's the one you'll want to make sure is intact. It's also what saves your various game setting such as fullscreen/windowed and text speed settings. not sure on the specifics but there's two copies of your saves. One is in:
