I was just replaying this and I've got to say being Rolfs Cutman was such a dope way of getting him onside and a great male bonding moment in general, not even for an H game.

Of the top 10 in weighted rating right now 5 have the female domination tag, femdom is not like scat or NTR where people run a mile it is not something that'll crater a game. It falling off seems more likely to do with it been a furry game surrounded by non furry games than femdom or update time related. Considering femdom and updates taking too long and/or been too short is hardly something unique to this VN. It was amazing it ever broke the top 10 at all.
The game is based around fucking a pig, albeit a very cute royal one but still a piggy. It's always going to struggle to maintain popularity compared to the desert stalkers or being a diks of the porn game world.
Fun fact BaD has fallen almozr as much as MPP despite having more "padding" due to years of being high rank, and one of the top 5 games is (technically) a sennin anime about fucking hypertit goths and monsters
IMO it's very much realted to update times, BaD is once every year+, MPP is twice a year (at best), while the previously mentioned game is every 2-3 months each update being as long or longer than MPP. You can even check when more negative reviews come in, I'm sure there is more during a long period between updates.

And I was right, really fuck it. Around 9 months for a single scene, variations or not whatever, and the same very things showed in the old previews.
Without the good art this game would have failed miserably. At this point I'll just check it once it gets the [Completed] tag, probably in 6-7 years at this pace.
