Very pleasant and beautiful graphics. I am surprised that the author has so few donations on Patreon.

No disrespect because in general i get what you mean and you are right.. but cyan gets 13k a month.. so in the last 9 months (if it was always 13k) he earned 117k for 10 minutes of content.
Big studios get criticized left and right but for devs on patreon it's not allowed?
I guess I am now part of the "not a furry fan BUT" gang.
Read the good reviews and I was skeptical but the game is top quality and very hot. I see this last update was like 9 months in the making...is this normal compared to other updates of the game?

But he's one person making a game, not several teams worth of people developing a AAA title. It's really not a fair comparison. People are free to support his Patreon, or not. I don't think he's under any obligation to outsource his workload if he doesn't want to, it's his project. Any by the same token nobody is obligated to continue their sub if the content release schedule isn't working for them.
I mean yeah, he is not making an AAA title, but this is a fucking Renpy game. I know good art takes time and he is doing this alone, but Jesus Christ, 9 months of "dev time" for about 7 minutes of gameplay on a VN? He is clearly milking his fans for money.
Don't get me wrong, I respect the hustle, I would drag out the project as much as I could If I was in his shoes, but I'm just baffled how gullible the people supporting him on Patreon are if this is somehow accetable to them.

Don't they all? (the developers of such popular games) Free patreon money really does make things worse in this regard. I know of at least five really good projects that are stalled because... Because patreon subscribers are giving the authors free money anyway. I don't know what to make of that. I mean, the developers are obviously afraid to actually finish their games, because that would surely mean the abrupt loss of their patreon income. And I thought to myself, guys, just finish your game, start another project and milk it for another 10 years. Why are you slowing down your work on the current game when you were actually able to make more updates before and now, for some (obvious) reason, you are slowing down with each update? And then I understood that such a step would mean actually working hard. And so people who were driven by passion in the beginning now just get the money for their unfinished project without any intention to move forward.
I'm not really complaining about My Pig Princess here, it's not the worst example of this scenario. But it seems like it's going in that direction. Or maybe I am complaining. But I don't want to, I love CyanCapsule's work, he's a very talented artist
Thankfully they don't there are multiple of the highest rated games that you never see anybody claim as "milking"

There are also examples of the opposite. And we're talking about really popular projects that for some reason don't get updates for years (but have a lot of patreon subscribers anyway)

This is a tale as old as time. People pay for all sorts of things and see value where you may not. As long as there's no coercion, what's the harm? People who support him know how to handle their money better than some rando telling them what to do. If they didn't think it's worth their penny, they would hit cancel membership.

I typically just skip all the dialogue and go straight to the action. But the art style had gotten me interested. The plot is insanely good. I absolutely loved the mini games, and there's even the characters as the main menu options! So far Billy has to be my favorite character. All in all this has to be the best porn game I've played to date. I didn't even mention the insanely good porn scenes!

That's an exceptionally ignorant statement to make. The fact of the matter is many people don't know how to handle their money, the drive to get people to pay a recurring bill exists because once people start paying that way, they are much less likely to stop, for anyone with any knowledge of business, they are aware of this push for business models to get some sort of recurring payment model going. A recent study showed it boosted sales by up to 200%.

those people arent gullible those are very rich ignorant kids of rich parents from the west, normal person would remember they support someone and send their money because they are doing their own bills and they menage their own things, rich kids got lot of free time they sit on twitter they play games all the time, dont work but get money from their parents
i know someone from USA who gives tons of money to innocent witches devs and he dont care their gritfing just because he is rich and they multiply their monies even more because dollar is worth lot of rubbles
it is what it is rich are gonna be ignorant because they dont care, dunno if its ignorant or being stupid
altho updates are being less and less often we need to be desensitized about this issue and the game itself Patreon became money mashine thats on the the verge of money washing/laundering when u can put any shitty art and get paid thousands for it, or not do anything for months and still get thousands of dollars... dont think about it it wont change until patreon change its shitty rules but i think its western countries will need to put boundaries first on this thing

Man, this thread is 40% about the game, and 60% of people bitchin about how the artist is making a lot of money but has slow updates. Guys, this is FREE. You're not allowed to complain if you're leeching off of it in the first place. Criticism is allowed but only stick to the content released not about how long an update is released.
Now, I'm not defending the artist if he/she is truly dragging it out intentionally or not, if that's true then whoa holy shit, what a douchebag, so let's just move on. Fact of the matter is, it's not your damn money anyway. It is what it is, lots of people seem to have money and want to spend it to support CyanCapsule. Some people do exist who don't have to worry about bills next month.
If the updates are slow go do something else ffs, go outside, eat, have sex, masturbate to Faker, whatever. Just enjoy what we have now instead of bitchin about it because bitchin about it certainly won't push updates any faster.
