I understand your frustration."Choose exactly what the dev intended you to or you don't get to see the scene" is not an impactful decision. Arbitrary tallying of points from vaguely different dialogue is not how to implement choice in games.
That's real life though isn't it. Say the right thing to the right girl (Dev), the right way and you might get laid. That's an impactful decision. It all depends on the gate keeper being the girl or the Dev.
In the end all I am saying is you can't have it both ways. If you want to see all content then you get a VN plain envelope. If I was a developer I'd never do a game with choices because 1/2 the audience will bitch about not seeing the content and quit the game. Doing decisions is a butt load more work on the Dev, a butt load. A dev is better off giving no choices, its less work and you still keep 50% of the fan base who only care about seeing all content but pretend to care about decisions.
So tired of SOME people (not saying you, this isn't personal or anything) demanding choice but complaining about missing content. The Dev can't do both.
