Ren'Py - My Real Desire [Ch.3 Ep.4 P2] [Lyk4n]

Great mood/pace and good characters! The story progresses nicely and the scenes are well done. Sound track is just as amazing! Actually made go out looking for it, it's something missing from most other games, it makes all the difference in setting the tone.

The game has a potential, although taking the same theme like other games, this game stands out more clearly more than others, I enjoy it very much and I hope the dev would have a great fortune and a good health

I am skeptical on games such as these kind of models since there are more bad of them than you can play but My Real Desire is one of the best making me want more of the content. With that the only disadvantage is that it is not complete yet but even in the current version it still long enough to make you captivated, and make you satisfied on what kind of game type this is.

OMG...I say, the best game I've ever played. This game just puts a smile on my face no matter how many times I re-play it. Keep up the good work, bud. 'Smile now, get hard later.' LOL. It's irony that the MC doesn't like to smile yet the game puts a smile on it's players.

All in all a decent game. Story is fine, girls are good to great, MC is eh kinda meh but whatever not the worst MC I've ever seen.

Frankly the only thing holding the game back is the awful sandbox in the beginning and the obnoxious phone.

At the "talk to Rin" section even with Shaddy's mod (btw thank you Shaddy for preserving my sanity) I could not locate Rin. I was legitimately twenty seconds from rage quitting and deleting the game if I hadn't stumbled across the damn room.

And lets not forget the phone. I hate cell phones in real life. In a visual novel I despise them. It is jarring, screws with the story flow, and straight up is unnecessary most of the time. The few times it might be necessary it could have just as easily been done via story instead of via an irritating ui element.

Sandbox and it's assorted elements have no place in a good visual novel. This game would in no way be harmed and would only be better if those things were excised like the cancer they are. This game wasn't even on my radar because sandbox is one of the tags I exclude.

Pity cause the girls and story make this one of the better games on f95.

I liked the game from the start. The story of the characters is written super well and you just have to know how it goes from there. Aside from the story, which is just addictive, the H-scenes are very stimulating. i can hardly wait for the next update! Many thanks to the dev for this masterpiece! 5/5

This is getting better and better. Before playing this game I read many reviews, felt like this game is for me. So I downloaded it but then after playing for few minutes I deleted it. It's because if the UI I didn't liked it. Also the first girl doesn't picqued my interest ( now I like her ). Main reason for deleting the game was less renders and more text, I'm not againts it I like story plot games the most. I felt like renders are dead.


Then I downloaded it again when the new update came. I played it now I got hooked in to the game. Story is nicely going. Really loved it when girls feeling jealous, and they are putting fair fight. Game is linear, but you don't get bored. Well I also like multiple branching games but I don't gonna complain about it. Linear story game is good you can explore every content in the game with one walkthrough. Models are good. My fav part is when they dives in to the game they creating. Their costumes are nice and they really look. Good there. All girls have their own personalities. They are not cock worshipping sluts. But there is girl a who only looking for sex but there is a reason why she acts like that. Looking forward more of the in game scenes in the next updates. Game is worth playing.

[Ch.2 Ep.3 Part 1]

I think the main characteristic of the protagonist of this game is that he is indifferent to everything, but the way it is explored ends up making it acceptable and interesting. The graphics are good, animations may not be the best in the world, but they are decent, the story can be interesting and each character has a unique personality. The main downside is that this game recycles many scenes and dialogues, for example: at a certain point Rin says she wants to spend more time with the protagonist, but in that time she spends doing something else, then a few episodes forward, this same The scene is repeated, but this time it is Yui who asks for more time with the protagonist, they are even exactly the same dialogues and this is repeated several times with other events... Anyway...

Pretty good game with a bit strange antisocial MC, which in my opinion is a plus, adding a bit of flavor to the game and making it stand out from other productions.

Quite a lot of girls, most of which are written in a way that allows us to feel that they have their own specific character. But on the other hand, there are also those completely devoid of depth, blindly clinging to the protagonist just because they are MC (i'm looking at you Alice Rin and Sally)

The system of choices in dialogues is rather awkward, written entirely with the harem in mind, often leading to bizarre and illogical situations if you decide to refuse / choose a suboptimal option.
However, its existence, whatever it may be, always gives some choice, which is always an advantage.

There are some minor mistakes like the changing traffic on the streets, in one scene it is left-sided and in the next one is right-sided. However, there are no major bugs affecting the gameplay.

It a solid 4+ / 5- game in general but compared to most other productions here, in my opinion it will be 5/5. For sure one of Top 10 erotic games i played here.

I completely forgot to mention the graphics of the game, which in my opinion is also a big plus of this production.

As of Ch 2 Ep 3

I'm really enjoying my time with the game. Overall it's a really good game, albeit the content in the updates have been a little small, but it's to be expected.

+ The renders are nice and the story is nice and tight. There's not a massive amount of random fluff. I know with a lot of other games the story can shift very drastically very quickly. Whereas Lyk4n has done an excellent job planting seeds to build off with the overall story and when he does introduce new ideas and story beats it integrates very well.


- The only negatives that really come to mind are are a couple scenes where the models look a little off i.e. a leg is a little larger than it should look or hands being too small. The only other thing is some grammatical errors but those are easily enough fixable.

One of the Best renpy games I've ever played. All female characters have their unique characteristics and own looks, which makes this game real fun. I can't wait to play this game when the development is complete and want to see a happy ending to the main character. Also, I was really surprised to see a cool sidekick male character in this game whereas I only saw stupid comedy male sidekick only in all of the Japanese H-games (except NTR genres).

I like that it's a harem, and most of the girls are pretty. They have different personalities too.
I don't like MC's blank face, even though there's apparently a reason why he's like that. I still wish it wasn't shown at all, would also increase immersion.
Sex scenes are animated which is good. Overall they're average - not good, not bad.
I initially really liked this game, but the writing has become very bad and the characters very uninteresting - I don't even care about the lewd scenes anymore.
The dev should scrap this one and analyze why it became so poor.

Here are my impressions of what shoud be improved.

The story line is a bit linear and boring. (full of "go" or "don't go" choices) please be more creative.

The rederizations are very good, the angle choices of the sex scenes are not good. Missing close-ups, something that will surprise the player or instigates curiosity to continue watching the scene.

Other points are good.

Very derivative game.
The main story is interesting, but the game is full of dialogue that is a western cliche of Japan. 20 somethings act like children who just reached puberty around each other (being embarrassed by the most innocuous things) while at the same time being independant adults. This got boring very fast.
I do like some of the characters but that cliche dialogue is too often off putting.
I do like that the MC is not the one chasing after the females. Suits this character very well as well as a break from the way adult VN games usually are.

TDLR: Has the same cons and then some as the devs other title Peaceful life, but lacks most of the pros of that game.

• Beautiful women fly to the MC:s cock and fall in love, despite him acting like he's an autistic asshole. They claim he's handsome, but at the same time they also talk about him having a dead stare and never smiling (which the model actually captures, he looks dead and never smiles). • MC is supposed to be muscular, but doesn't look the part. He's almost identical in body to his roomate who's not supposed to be muscular (they talk about it).
  
  
• LI chasing MC rather than MC chasing LI. Poor game-design choice, as the player, who want to fap to the smexy parts of the game, plays through the MC rather than the LI:s. It's much more natural to have the MC be the one who tries to instigate sex, because then player and MC are aligned in their goals.
  
  
• Gain relationship points by shaking hands when proffered. In reality it works the other way, no one will like you just because you shake their hand, however they will think you're a weirdo if you refuse. The game is filled with these very easy ways to get everyone to love the MC, despite what it really is, is the MC just barely managing to act like a human being (but not all of the time, now and then he reverts back to robot regardless of player input).
  
  
• Mind reading all the time. Kills first person immersion.
  
  
• Rather bland and boring renders. Most characters look very much alike.
  
  
• Banal, boring, flat and pointless conversations about nothing ("did you like your cheeseburger?" "Yes I did, it was very good." Oh, how good, I'm happy you liked it.") together with tons of non-erotic background story material and drama that is meh in general quality and therefore detract from the games pornographic premise. I stopped reading eventually and just clicked, clicked, clicked and clicked. There's no need to read any of it to be able to answer correctly to every "choice" given in the game anyway.

• Very vanilla sex. Not even anal. One instance of anal is the height of depravity as of chapter 2, episode 2 part 2. Maybe this will change as the game progresses.
  
  
• Almost all choices are very simple. Be nice and do the things people want you to do = relationship points and sex. Do the opposite = no relationship points and a lot less sex. No other way to affect the story.

Seems like everyone else is complaining about the plot so I will clear some things up. In the beginning, the mc is definitely an emotionless and boring character. I literally almost deleted it within the first couple minutes, but then I remembered something. In the description (I think it was under the spoiler section) it said if I couldn't stand an mc who starts off rough but has character development later on, I shouldn't even give it a chance. I decided to give it a chance and really enjoyed all the characters. Seems like this game still has a decent amount of unreleased content, so I'm hoping that they will answer some of my questions.

One of my biggest complaints would be the lack of choices concerning the "rich old guy." I hope we get more decisions to go against him in the future, but if we do early on in the story it would just be game over. That'd make the choices more impactful then just if you had sex or not.
