it's just boring, no character-development, MC is unbothered by life, same monotone, dead-inside guy, and nothing changes, ever, the girls literally throw themselves at him because biggus dickus.
Hey now, I like Crystal, and perhap she's one of the few LIs that I actually remember stuff from the game, but yeah, the game is averge, but because it's "completed", it's still worth playing imo

Not the worst game but not particularly great either. The robot MC and obviously rushed ending leaves much to be desired.
that includes how dragged it feels to play this, even in the most impactful moments of the game, MC hardly reacts at all...he goes with the flow.

I heard people complaining about "reactive MCs", but this one acts in the most passive, uncaring, indifferent, robotic way possibile in the most boring way possible.

Well he is an introverted guy, abandoned and trained as an agent since childhood, he has no emotion left, that's part of his character, the whole story is him finding his emotion back, his real desire.

and he never gets his emotions back...that's my issue with the story, even after the plot-twists, the reveals, he is the same.

its a complex trauma.
a child that is broken has the brain reorganized to bury and disconnect from their feelings. Bringing those fully back is impossible. Only by forcing neural reorganization by making positive experiences and new, beneficial social connections can the emotions be reawakened and even then not completely.
The victim will often lash out without aparent cause like any other PTSD disturbance, too.

you're justifying the unjustifiable, i would agree with you if this was a real situation(/real people), but you're talking about a story, but there is no pay-off, no reward, no change in MC, it was boring and it dragged tremendously.

well, maybe that was the point. a number of games leave the player in the cold, sometimes even with an unavoidable bad-end and call that a kink.

I used to like this one. But the story became steadily bland and I just skipped everything until sex scenes.

Still he fucked every woman that offer themselves to him. I don't think he is that broken. The more I play the game, I has a feeling that I am playing a fuckboy who treat everything as casual and not some traumatic emotional damage guy

which is also a known trauma response, among others to neglect and isolation. also present in abuse victims that havent learned a healthier, non-sexual social interaction and havent been alienated from sex with disgust and the latent realization of being at the mercy of someone stronger or more powerfull projecting unto their partner(s).
a case i saw reported on noted the young woman offering sexual favors constantly because she didnt knew much of any other social interaction. dont know how the shrinks treated her to overcome that.
