I would probably say that your answer lies in the dev notes section of the op. But, as that confused the shit outta me, I'm not entirely sure. The gist I got was that the main dev passed away and before the new dev tries to complete it, they want to make sure the side story is up to par. But, as I said, it confused me as the English was pretty bad.

TL;DR: this is a 2nd side story, it has moar videos & compressed images, one of the devs left the team, keep watching my Patreon.

There's no explanation of why this was released in there.

So to clarify, this is a small side story, each month there's a poll where the Patrons can choose who a character seen in the games to make a "kinky" chapter-length update of.

Basically, they gather around, vote on a character and a bit of the fetish to be included and it's then released in exclusive for them!

I hope this clarifies the matter.
Regarding future updates to this particular sidestory, it'd depend on future polls

So to clarify, this is a small side story, each month there's a poll where the Patrons can choose who a character seen in the games to make a "kinky" chapter-length update of.

Basically, they gather around, vote on a character and a bit of the fetish to be included and it's then released in exclusive for them!

This would be a spin off, using characters from it but the plot is wildly different. It's more of a game for a quick session than anything
