I find the mention of racism towards Asians amusing. Especially since it was on behalf of Kalvin who's black. The place in the world there's most racism against blacks, bar none, is in Asia. The same can't be said about Asians in the western world. It happens, but it's extremely rare in comparison.
Not sure if it's meant to be a fictional world, but with the mention of a pandemic, probably not.
I guess my point is that if Min-Ah is very traditional, she'd be the one who has a problem with Kalvin, not the other way around.
