The text you're talking about will be changed in the next update. Julia was always supposed to be MC's real sister, that's why after the intro I ignore the whole "step siblings" thing. The only reason I did that, is because I've seen many games use this trick to not get banned. But lately I've seen devs get shot down for no reason, while some others break not only patreon rules but also laws in many countries and get away with it. If they want to ban someone they will do it anyway, so I don't care about it anymore.

Just want to ask about this character Julie before deciding if this is worth a try... I usually like the shy, innocent, virgin type girls and to have a chance of romantically starting a monogamy relationship route with them. Does this game have that option or is what a couple of people on this thread saying about her and this other girl true? Don't really want to invest in one character to then be 'forced' into a polyamory relationship. Thanks for any feedback and I only ask as the story seems interesting and there are some nice looking renders.

There are 2 routes with Julia, solo and throuple. No one is forcing you to share her with anybody.

Always make a save on a screen with the girl whose path your on, even if it's a before the end of the update. You can always skip forward to the new stuff on a new update.

People were getting shot down since 2017 for step stuff by Patreon etc, same time as real family. Everyone' who isn't using subscribestar or maybe itcho have been going the "Landlady" route ever since.
This is not a new thing.
Yeah Patreon is too risky if one wants to use that and porn production for their livelihod and sole income (not just incest/stepcest, but a long list of things that make an AVN not a boring narrative clone of 1000 others). Even Fetish Locator had to be redone almost 2 years after the fact because it had blackmail in it (I think that was before incest with the MC's sis was added, only hinted at at that point), probably due to some asshole that didn't like the way the story was going with Lydia reported it. And sadly SS takes an eternity these days to approve new accounts (should just approve everything and review it later based on if it gets reported for what little banned things there are on that platform). As a backup option you could also use Backed.by. Nothing gets banned there and you are paid in crypto pegged to the US$ so can make whatever you want. Though if it's illegal like lolis getting molested ymmv (any crypto pegged to real currency is traceable with not too much effort). Apparently in most places it's not enforced if it's a cartoon 99% of the time, even when technically illegal, so most get away with it for sometimes years and then retire/complete the AVN, not promoting it on mainstream sites like Twitter or F95 (that wouldn't allow it anyway), using a logless VPN like PIA and encrypting the files with a pw when using filehosts like Mega probably has alot to do with that.

I never even saw that, probably because I chose to dump her/make her a friend-with-no-benefits in favor of Julie. I'm guessing scenes like that happen if you try to fuck multiple girls and treat this as a harem AVN (when it's not meant to be bad things tend to happen at some point).
That's true with just about every Renpy AVN. Dunno why all volume sliders are maxed by default rather than 50% every time.

I think the most frustrating thing about this story is the fact that the player is almost constantly left in the dark. Even after 5 uploads.
The characters in the story, your character in particular, know more about what's going on than you do and it's hard to get any kind of interest in it when you have no immersion as the character you're playing as because he knows more than the reader.
You really need to let out the big secret and soon because it's fairly annoying at this point.
Secondly annoying is that you are limiting the girls by individual choices. Both Stella and Julia are ok with sharing you. To see any other options you have to say no to both of them. It's a really dumb way to run a VN that every decision locks you out of every other path. I also get the feeling that you can't come back to Stella or Julia later and try to date them after having gone out with someone else. So we haven't even gotten close to Ada or Alex yet and we're already forbidden to try unless we ignore every other character.
