Author needs to drastically cut these down to size, I don't think anyone is gonna stay on a page for a full 2+minutes let alone 30+ seconds to watch a video with questionably decent content. Honestly you only need 10-15 second long videos to get the visual across. At this rate this things going to be 20+ GB to have a full path for just the characters that you can interact with.

First impressions, it's very empty... which I get, it's new.

I'd add more basic time wasters. To both pass time and allow someone to stay in a particular location while waiting for someone to show up there to find events. Like when you eat with the family, have a button that just says something that is "yes, ill eat with the family" and it's -30 minutes and people move on. Allow time wasting in the living room, maybe a clean livingroom or watch tv button, so people can waste time in the living room waiting for a specific person to show up. Perhaps basic ones in the bathroom and kitchen too.... like clean kitchen or clean bathroom. This would also be an easy way to add in basic income, like chores, for money from mom.

Next, cut down A LOT on forced wait times. Like having to watch a video for a minute... that's too long. Make those small gifs, 5-15 seconds, cuts down on size a lot. Also, allow the player within a few seconds at most, to move on.

I'm so glad that I got feedback from this. There were genuine bugs that I will be clearing it out soon.

Like I said before, the size was an issue for me. Webm actually had a larger size compared to mp4(4GB vs 200 MB) (Gifs were heavy as well), fair trade if you ask me. The reason why it is 1 GB is that I added in content that is not in the build (Gym) and that was for planned content for 0.3. I'll trim down the sizes as I knew that was a flaw but needed to test it out nonetheless (the mp4 files). So the time-wasting mechanic is implemented in twine but not added to the HTML yet. The reason why I had the forced wait time was to test out the fade-in elements and other macros that I implemented in that passage. (Forgot to edit that, my bad). In terms of content, it's just 600 MB (some of the gifs are pretty heavy). The remaining 400 got padded through because of the next planned content. The reason why I pushed it out was the new gameplay features which I had to get it out before it affected in the long run. I'm solidifying the foundation before we push further and that is at times frustrating though I have content for the game in hand.

Issue with all these "rl" porn games. They tend to use much of the same assets. For the sake of immersion, maybe use less known/mainstream models would be preferred, idk..

I tried. If you checked out in CHYOA I tried using lesser models but the content was very restrictive. By modifying pieces here and there, I tried and checked it. Eventually, it was not suitable hence went with mainstream models. tbh the next game that I planned is from the HP fanfic where I'd utilize deepfakes so less mainstream there? That will be more open in terms of content 'cause it literally covers everyone and every fetish and waaaaaaaaaaaay dark. It's the same one in CHYOA.

The gym wouldn't work for me. My inventory said I had plenty of money but that I to ask the mother for more. I assume it's because the mom said to buy an outfit but then the mall has nothing in it. This might be because it seems like the originally asking for money option is bugged as it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't and is always slow to react.

Essentially, it's got the same problem as most early HTML games - You've laid too much groundwork for future events to make the player aware of what's coming but left little in the way actual progression. In business terms, you've gone too wide and not deep enough.

I'll also say that I really don't like the meta "you're/I'm in a game now?" stuff. You should definitely make it so that the intro is skippable in the future. You need the progression hints to be a little clearer too. There are also three big issues with the events.

1 - You actually had a loading time which isn't fun to experience.
2 - The general layout of the main section means that I can be in the kitchen all day after breakfast and not know anyone else is in there because the kitchen description takes up to screen and I have to scroll down to check on stuff to do. This is an issue for a few rooms/places.
3 - Events can be done more than once if they don't take the full time they've active for. The little sister's NTR scenes can be watched, you leave the room, go back to her room and can watch it as a non-NTR option the very same night.

It's a solid premise but it's barely an alpha right now. Still, you've put something together which is more than most so well done!

1 - Loading time? In which location? If it's the bathroom scene it will be reworked again anyways
2 - It's tough since if I do a normal if..else switch it still leaves spaces that looks bad like in the Bedroom. I'm polishing this one as well while playing the game side-by-side.
3 - True, I have a macro for this which I'm currently testing in for MC's corruption quest(it's implemented in this patch). If that works like a charm then I will proceed to use that for the NTR scene.

I released the game when it had nothing and solely based on CHYOA. It was tough integrating plus giving hints whenever possible. This is useful for those who want a fast-track on what to do next. The reason why I left certain choices on the bottom of the passage is to involve story immersion. My initial plan was to put it completely on the right side. Now it's just used for navigation purposes and is proved to be helpful in that aspect. I'm sorry that you didn't like the 4th wall break but it will be less as we progress on. The Gym money issue should work provided you met your mother during breakfast. I'm polishing that particular quest because it's the buggiest and most requested as well. I guess either players want to progress with Kendra or with Brandi. I'll look into the money situation as of now.

I know... For one full week, I had that issue, m8.
1) I tried gif the browser won't even load plus extremely bad quality.
2) Webm format exceeded for 4 GB for that exact video. Frames were locked at 25
3) MP4 was smoother and had better encoding and compression, meaning it was easier to load but not much of a sacrifice to quality. I reduced the quality of it because at the maximum quality it was the same as WebM size with faster frames. Plus all videos are resized to 640p resolution for the game. It seemed the most optimal for my case.

Should be able to get 1280x720, with audio at 11s for 3mb without artifacting, tearing, or blur. I'll grant you only at 24 FPS.
That would make your video about 37mb total, not 4gb.

I'm pretty sure i've tried this 3 or 4 different times in the past and so far it feels like nothing has changed even when you allegedly added new mechanics in this release. It doesn't feel like there is any goal, it's more like i'm just clicking and going places in the hopes that something will change. Note that i said 'hope', because there is nothing indicating that I need to go anywhere to achieve anything at all to unlock something. Even the guide you have set up at the Table is largely worthless because it gives me more unanswered questions about what I am supposed to do because I am still facing the same problems I had in the first release. Is this 'quest' functioning properly? Is there a point or function in all these different locations on the world map? Is there a point in grinding stats when it is laughably trivial to do and still cannot even start gaining STR and AGI due to content blocking?
I cannot recommend this game to anyone because there is still no environment or stat economy(reason/reward for stats) to justify wasting my time in MUA.

EDIT: Apparently yes, I did miss it. When you go back to your room after that scene, your "spirit guide" or whatever tells you to look for the book. However, I still don't know that it ever mentioned that Ricky was reading from something. Maybe my eyes just missed that part.

They were referenced initially but was glossed over by many. I will rewrite that soon which is already there since the introduction to have a greater emphasis on it. So the path here was once you used the table to get further information you push forward to meet his family. Which then unlocks the next content for the arc. It's sort of like the end of the Arc and hence wants to push all voyeurism content before it happens.

As for the recent review, yup. No content so far huh.. guess voyeurism shouldn't have any tags then. I made the point well clear that it will be grindy but not much. I have toned down so much that I left a game flaw which would max out all stats before the third day. If you find that grind unacceptable then you can not try this game at all. Either come back when it's picking up the pace or don't try the game. I'm not doing this for money. It's more of a hobby project. Plus I referred this before, I suck at programming which makes very hard to work on my code. I'm new to twine and HTML hence any new gameplay mechanic I introduce is a great thing. Content has become slower because of the mess I created. After 0.2 patch, it's way cleaner than I started out with and content creation became quite easy. If this post discourages new players and existing players likewise, let it be. You are getting this for free like all of the content in F95.

Like I said previously when making the game, I need higher frame rates. There will be no audio but I can include that. Won't take much. I reached the same 37 MB with the video I have but the image quality was at 50% lower than the original file. Higher quality leads to tearing and eventually became heavy as shit. I did comparative tests too. I'll be sticking with mp4(which already is reduced) But should you wish to make a reduced/compressed quality Pictures folder, by all means, go for it. I lost my crucial development time working on that so I'm not switching again. Please do make it and post it here but it will go under as unofficial compression folder links. I'd be happy if you did so.

I'd suggest that you really should spend more time on converting and adapting your video files; the encoding, format, bitrate, editing of the videos.
Or just drop the videos for now and replace them with a few image captures of the videos.

I'd work on it until I get the content out there for now. Possibly when it crosses the 6 GB threshold. I'd be glad if someone handled that but yeah... This will have to do for now...
