please answer if you have time
First things first, do you mean Rumiko as in the streamer girl you fight against in chapter 5 or did you mistake her with Sana (the MC)? I'm asking because I've seen you mention needing Rumiko's bra picture before when it was Sana who makes the selfie.

As for the spoiler - how much do you want to know?

That is indeed Mayling. While I vastly prefer the first game, Mayling is pretty much my spirit animal (just with less alcohol involved).

And yeah, I found the finale to be way more affecting and touching, I guess?, that expected. Definitely a nice surprise.

your answer..
I will stick with the minimal spoiler for now, thank you for the consideration on that (y) later i'll look at the other after the true ending is achieved to make sure i understood everything

this time i'm starting the game from the beginning, so i didn't get to that part yet.. I did mean the streamer rumiko that hangs out with saito too (y) but you answered my question well enough.. I hate two-faced betrayal, so i was curious if my creeping suspicion I was getting from the story was somewhat accurate. thanks again!

Hmm... 2.03 fixed the double Hisao bug after festival scene with Norio so that's good, I can update the list again.

the last one
the one who have the dlc
The first step would be to download the game again and make sure an antivirus or something doesn't remove any files before launch. If it still throws an error check the size of the game folder and number of files inside - we can compare if anything is really missing.

No problem! I don't like spoilers so I tend to err on the side of caution in cases like this. Have fun!

How do you play the DLC? I bought My and My Counterattack and followed the instructions, but nothing changes. I'm still stuck in the ending credits after chapter 6 saying it will continue in counterattack. It says the main menu should change as well but it still has Not counter attack on it. Is there a step I'm not doing right? I don't understand

Which version are you trying to play? I've seen someone mention similar problem on dev's twitter so perhaps it's something on their end? Just a guess though since I'm using the build linked in this thread.

I forgot also that i can't see this game as ntr even.. the boyfriend doesn't even care most of the time what happens to the main character.. it's not like the helpless MC trope.. he really acts like he doesn't care, so in the end IF it's some kind of NTR.. it's more like the female getting stolen from her one-sided love(or obsession ) interest.. (actions have more truth attached, than thoughts or speaking, you know..)

I love a lot of the way the story and gameplay works, but the boyfriend seems like a shitbag.. not even a loser, just a shitbag.
and since it was a while ago that I played this, but didn't get to finish it then.. I had forgotten this about him

..about the game story though: I love that the DEV put in random character moments from the other games, hilarious (y)

I don't disagree but I'd like to point out a few things to justify his behaviour just a little bit.
  1. We're shown early on that Sana is the driving force behind their relationship. She's the one who fell in love first and the one who wants to make this relationship a reality to an... obsessive degree, really.
  2. He is preoccupied with both the conspiracy and his father's failing business, leaving him with limited time and energy to focus on other things (or at least that's how I interpret some of the story snippets shown from his perspective).
  3. While he's aware that vultures are circling around Sana he trusts her enough to know (or at least hope, in case of bad endings) that she'll able to endure and manage through this.
Is that enough to say he's a good dude? Not really, though I'd argue that no one from the main cast (maybe besides Waka and Sana's brother) are particularly good people. Overall though I definitely think that more scenes showing their actual relationship and more proactive approach on boyfriend's side could help a lot to sell the fact they are indeed together.

yeah i agree with most of that, and while he is trusting her to 'power through' all this.. he is using her to further his goals, and it's a feeling like, "well, i hope she can manage this, while i use her and scheme.. and if not, oh well.." just so indifferent..

I can see he feels a bit of guilt occasionally, but it's only a tiny bit.. doesn't feel like he actually cares.

It's more like that idea of: "I don't want to burden others, so I feel guilty a little.."(That japanese mentality) but i can't get a feeling of caring or even truly wanting to be with her. He says it occasionally yes, but then he does all those actions and using her..

actions are reality, wishful thoughts, especially as light hearted as he acts about it, ends up as nothing..

maybe he is the ultimate anime MC that can't see anything even though he thinks he sees everything.. while being indecisive as fuck toward women around him.. idk  :ROFLMAO: Idk maybe the DEV thinks this boyfriend is cool, since he is so indifferent..
:censored:
anyways, i appreciate the ideas you share either way (y)

I appreciate the small hints of emotions from Hisao but I agree that's not enough for a story like this. This is something I've seen quite a few times in NTR games - we're told people are in relationship but nothing in the story presents it in a believable manner. There's more talking about it than actually seeing it, which make the whole thing feel underwhelming.

I'm not sure if it's something devs choose to do because they don't want to bother with lovey-dovey moments in a story focused on pulling relationships apart or if they don't know how to do it well but it's really noticeable. If you want to destroy a relationship, show us there's something to destroy in the first place.

I believe that NTR stories have their own unique appeal. Here, I think the developers wanted to explore the extreme of an obsessed girl being robbed, or acting like a slut to secure her relationship.
The boyfriend being inert in the face of her is a way to complement this.

However, I completely agree, for me it's not that much fun to see the girl being robbed if the boyfriend doesn't seem to care much about it, or even puts her on the back burner.
