How do I continue with DLC after finishing the base game?

If you're playing version 2.0+ then it should continue automatically after finishing all the main story content from part 1. If not, you have to download v2 (check few posts prior), copy your saves to a folder named "Save_MTool" and launch the game using MTool to translate it from Japanese since there's not proper translation at the moment. This post has basic info about the process.

Thank you for answering. Yes, I believe I am playing 2.0+ but it did not start automatically. When I try to load my save I get this message. And when I select new game it just starts from the beginning of part 1.

Just to clarify, based on the save list on the second screenshot are you trying to load one of the first two (chapter 7) or the third save (chapter 6)? Does any of them work or are they all broken?

I was trying to load the first two, that's when I get that prompt that says I can't load a Counterattack save. The third save loads without problem. The first two are saves at the last night of the part 1, meaning those are the saves I finished the part 1 on.

Do you just start another day like you usually do with DLC after completing part 1? Mine just rolled the credits after completing part 1 and sent me straight back to the main menu. Now all I can do is 1- starting over, 2- being unable to load the saves where I finished part 1. It's like I don't have the DLC at all, but you see it right there in the screenshot, it's version 2.06.

I think I started with the wrong question actually. Are you playing version linked in this post or are you playing the official release from DLsite? Base game is currently at version 2.06 but it only has part 1 and some side content (a bit more than the version linked in the OP). DLC contains part 2 of the story and has to be bought separately (it also has a separate versioning, I believe).

So yeah, maybe you don't have the DLC. If you did story should just continue like it did with previous chapters.

It has been some time but IIRC it should be from that post. But I'm not sure if it's from that post in particular, I downloaded the game from one of the good folks who shared it under this thread after the DLC released. But certainly not from the OP.

If I download it again from that post and copy my saves to its folder do you think that would work? Trying right now.

Oh my god I'm sorry. I indeed have downloaded from the post you've linked, but it seems I only downloaded 2.06. Not realizing the DLC is actually separate in that link Thank you for your time and attention.

So would you suggest I start over? Did I miss anything the DLC adds to the part 1?

Good to know it's not a technical issue. I don't think you'll miss anything, pretty much all of the DLC content is either main story related or accessible whenever (with few events activating after part 1). Future content updates should be the same way as far as I'm aware so you're good to go.

All the directories that were originally folders in OP's post are .wolf files in 2.06 and the game won't run because of that

Both versions should work since folders are the same thing just decrypted to patch in the translation if I recall correctly. Are there any errors on launch or are you modifying the game in any way? Maybe put the 2.06 files into the old folder (just spit-balling here)?

imma just get your save file with all the scenes lmao, still the same problem, it just says "this game cannot load save data from the counterattack (after the 18th)" and it just doesnt let me go beyond there, i used the save you sent here a few weeks back :/

Make sure you have the DLC as that's what contains the rest of the story. If you check few posts higher there was another user who had the same issue and it turned out they downloaded the latest version of the base game but not the DLC as they were two separate downloads rather than all-in-one. Depending on where you downloaded it from it might be the same for you.
