Overview:
Ryo Kishida and his wife, Yuka, were heading back to their hometown on a ferry. Unfortunately, a sudden tragedy strikes when the ferry gets into an accident, leaving them and their companions stranded on a deserted island. To survive, they must adapt to island life and plan their escape while ensuring the safety of the injured and the other passengers who can't manage on their own.
Meanwhile, some shady passengers also find themselves stranded on the now male-dominated island. Taking advantage of the lawless situation, they try every trick in the book to get close to Yuka.
Can Yuka protect her family and find a way off the island?

Because in Japan, they have this law saying that they cannot make any kind of offensive product. However they also have this cultural thing I call "the non written harmonization law", that is, trying to always make everyone happy with an arrangement. And so, it goes like this:
Porn is considered offensive to some publics.
However, we can't just forbid porn producers to stop working on the industry because we would be disrespecting them (again, the harmonization law).
What do we do then? Easy. What's the part that produces the controversy? Well apparently, for them, it's the genitalia. Well, then we censure the genitalia and leave the rest as it is. Everybody is happy: porn industry can produce and the others do not get offended.
And this, gentlemen, is the actual reason Japan is the porn empire yet they must censor their content.

This is the 4th game with this premise I've played. Not a flex just oddly specific that it's happened three times before.

I didn't make the title but a literal translation for the original JP title would be:
"Wife Island: Life on a Deserted Island with My Wife"

So yeah, despite the game having a female protag, the title is from the husband's perspective, I guess.
