Like I said for the first, initial release, it's a good setup. The problem (and one plaguing most stories, mainstream included, imo): There's no hook. You're building all this foundation, but you haven't given us a reason to care about the foundation, yet. Throw something spicy in there right away, and keep spicy stuff consistent. There's too much exposition without anything noteworthy or attention grabbing happening. Maybe add something to the yoga scene. My personal taste would be to do something with the outfit, like either make it expose more of her breasts and the MC can comment about how revealing it is, or maybe have her doing it fully exposed, but she hears him approach and he walks in on her hastily having fixed it (hinting at an exhibitionist kink, or maybe a secret watcher she puts a show on for in the mornings when he's usually asleep). Maybe have a phone call in the middle of the day where she's out of breath. Was she working out again? Was she masturbating? Was she cheating already? We don't know. Maybe she could send him a saucy selfie to encourage him to keep to his promise of getting home before 6.

There's a lot of things that could be added in, but right now, it's too dry. The potential is there, but don't take too long to hook us.
Yup, his first game had all that and more, super fucking hot. This one seems to be a slow burn from the start but idk.

Hi there fellow NTR lovers!! The text following is long enough, so I'll be brief with my salute.

I'm happy with this second update, like before i said the intro was somewhat boring, you sure turned that around with this new update and made it even more interesting with this scary case endanger his firm. Also the cliffhanger at the end was sublime good. Keep up writing like this and it will be a great story even with the NTR or no NTR depending what the paths all be. I'm looking forward to the future of this VN, as it look promising now.
Well, I'm glad your opinion improved with the second build. The Omiai is a traditional custom in Japan, although the nature of it is not that uncommon in Western countries. It's a practical way for people who want to get married (either because social pressure or because they simply want to), to meet someone skipping all the hassle associated with it. It's the old, traditional, Japanese version of Tinder if you will.

In the original script for the first scene, I wanted to explain how Wataru's parents (especially her mother), were pressuring him to get married. He wasn't interested, but in Japan social standing and appearances are important. Wataru was already a successful young man, so the next logical step was to get a wife. Her mother was always sending him profiles from an agency she hired (yup, Omiai is also a business in Japan). Wataru always brushed them off... that is 'till he saw Mariko's profile as one of the candidates.

This whole explanation was scrapped from the original version. I wanted the first scenes to focus on the characters and their relationship and that explanation was distracting from it. So, I just included the shortened version (axing all the details) in that first scene. Sometimes you have to make those kind of decisions. I believe good writing is as much as what you put into your writing, as well as what you don't. If something is not contributing to the scene (or will not contribute anything in the future), then you might as well just get rid of it, no matter how much you want to include it. That being said, I might get an opportunity to include that explanation in a future build.

Animations... I already said it a few times, but HS is not optimized to make animations. I could move to Blender or another program, but for now, I'm too invested in the original program I started with. Plus making animations takes time (not counting all the time it takes to learn). I'll need some support if people really want animations since I'll need to hire/commission someone to make them, or at least delegate some of my work (like programming, posing, proofreading, etc...), so I'll get more time to focus on the important stuff. For now, I don't get enough support to even commission some mods I really need.

I have read your description of the VN and I need to give my personal opinion of your plans for future PATHS..
Please don't see my comment as degrading, hostile or rude....

The problem I have with PATHS.. "maybe 2 paths at the most" is that you, the DEV will work your behind off to update all the PATHS,... and due to this, you will have to release One PATH say every 2 months and The "path" That I'm on... will only be updated once a year...:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure:
Sad.. but its true.... I don't support a VN monthly.. If its only updated once a year... regardless 4 releases a year.. All the paths... mmmm... I don't think so.... Sorry, but I have to pass..

Okay, I think it has been a misunderstanding here. I won't make two or three paths... That's the ideal... but it's not a sure thing. Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly, so I'll do so in the next INTRO in my next build.

Now to be clear: I'll only make more than one route IF this project gets enough support AND people want an alternative route(s). It's true the original idea was planned to be a Multiple Route Mystery, but I can still pull back (either for the lack of support or if I don't feel capable of pulling that off...). I also said that I'll decide WHEN the first important choice is included in the game. One choice has already been included, but that was just a trial, a rehearsal (thus the joke ending). The first real fork in the game will come in the 4th or 5th build.

But, whether this story becomes a Multiple Route Mystery or just a one-path story, I'll develop the first/only path to completion BEFORE (if) making the other paths. I won't be jumping between paths because that will be a fricking nightmare!!

So to summarize and make things clear: I'll develop the main story TO COMPLETION (not jumping between routes)... And THEN I'll consider making more routes.

I get what you're saying. I agree with you that I need to hurry to "hook" the readers. However, this is the first time I'm working with monthly builds... and still, considering the approximate length of this VN, all the foundation I'm building is still lacking.

Maybe it's better to make a parallel with my first Visual Novel: Teaser Date Kanon. I also started building the foundation there, but I don't think people thought it was too long or too much. But that might be because it was a short Visual Novel (the first part at least: Hiro's POV). So all that intro was not that long in comparison to all that followed, but people got to see the whole thing at once (no monthly builds there). So I guess, what I'm trying to say is that, once you see the whole picture you will notice all that foundation/intro was not that long at all (at least I hope so).

But then again, I wonder what would people have thought of TDK if I made it with monthly builds. I can't imagine Kanon and Hiro reaching the mall (where all the juicy stuff starts to happen) in just one build. I'd have needed at least two builds to finish all that intro/foundation (and we're also in two builds for MWM).

But again: I get what you're telling me, and I agree with you. I don't want to bore you with too much intro/foundation, but luckily (hopefully) all that will be worth it in the end. I'm the kind of storyteller who chooses solidity over quick fanservice because I believe that will make it all worthwhile in the end. TDK was the proof of that: I released a whole NTR VN withouth a single sex scene till the very end, and lots of people loved it!... And I think it all paid off at the end (when Kanon's POV was added as the second playthrough).

But I love your critics and all the critics here actually. I take them all into account and think hard about them. I'm not trying to convince you or argue. Probably not a single word I say here will change your mind. It's my work the one that has to do the talking. Here I'm just trying to explain my logic behind what I'm doing and why I'm doing it like that.

Just a little patience, we're slowly getting to the good stuff!!

Do you even edit the picture afterwards? No rendering needed also. I checked again the image folder and it's often just a lot of pictures that look exactly the same just the expression changes. Or the body moves the bare minimum. Same camera angle etc.
You do even less than AI devs. I mean you literally just take a screenshot, use one click to change the expression and take another one. How long did the female boss scene took to create 5 minutes?

And all that is still totally fine, if you are not able to do more than that it is totally ok. But begging like that for money with those reasons you mentioned? Wow. Maybe you should be more thankful for all the current supporters instead of complaining that you don't have enough to even create the simplest things like another route. Hell you can even use most of the existing pictures that you are already using for the other route.

And the best part is complaining about the lacking support on a pirate forum. Just wow. *clap*

I don't need to be a fortune teller to know what kind of dev we can expect here in the future.

Teaser Date is one of my fav NTR games and games in general from f95zone collection. I was legit bummed out when the creator was gone for a long while due to irl stuff just for them to return with the kanon pov. AND IT WAS PEAK. I going to let them cook cause I've seen the love they got for this stuff and I know they'll jst get better and better.

And that game is not an giant project like Being a dik or whatever. Like the game is and looks right now you can easily put out 100 hours of content without spending 1 cent. And again.. I do think he should get some bucks for doing this (which he already does - around 75$ a month) but come one..
