Does anyone think the dev of the original MWAS wasn’t happy with this renpy version taking some of his supporters and made him stop it?

Has to be something like that. Last I heard, which was around last release were some big plans for a couple of paths, down to specifics on character focus moving forward. Fingers crossed they're silent because they're just focusing on getting the update out.

He hasn’t posted or replied on any platform since the 8th of April. Until he does, I’m considering the remake as abandoned, and have cancelled my Patreon.

I have now stopped supporting the project on patreon. Two months without any news, I don’t see why I would continue to pay for it.
Too bad because it looked good.

This is simply a theory of mine and I do not have any really hard evidence for it, but could it be that the Dev doing this renpy port is actually the dev of MWAS in disguise? I find it suspicious that despite him telling us that new fanmade stuff will be included, he suddenly went silent when the port reached the end of original content.
Even if the fanmade content would turn sour for various reasons, he could have told us without problems.

think you are right, the Unity version of the game (Original), has a different patreon page, and its two different developers, so its a game that follows the original, dick move, but but
