so just started the game and already found an need for attention from the dev. i was told to go to the second floor (which does not exist) and have the door furthest right while your room is far left for the player. could have accepted the first floor being the second level of the house if it was not called first floor

Unfortunately I wish there was an easier way to check days passed against something as trivial as talking to a girl but alas I couldn't find any. That being said, it works .. most of the time ... As for his bug, I've discovered that the hint is wrong but it should still work. Something which is fixed in 0.18.0
