Again...
There IS an option to skip the grindy content though.
I'm not a fan of Ren'Py games in general, mind you, but they do tend to always have a skipping option, so it seems to me like you just like to make a whole lot of fuss for a nothing burger.

you see, japanese people were doing great and still doing it, they sell you finished games and not halfdone shit,
Mad Island isn't completed yet lol. It has a lot of content, though, and nothing too grindy, but "they sell you finished games" is not entirely accurate.

I have to say though, when I first got into porn games (about a year ago) I was surprised how many of them were incomplete. That's not typical outside of the porn field (at least not in my limited experience--never was a huge gamer, admittedly), so I get the frustration there for sure.

But I don't think Mystwood Manor deserves so much venom.

Bro, you can say the "skip the grind button" thing because this game is finished, now imagine it's being developed for 3 or 4 years and the game dont have any sex scenes with people you want? Hah! That's my whole point, sell the game finished then we can talk

Hi guys, can anyone recommend me some other games with this type of management gameplay loop? Both SFW and NSFW, thank you in advance. Edit: recently I've played Dispatch, not the same but scratched my itch.

just in the first section of the spoiler already stopped reading, you can be all the fan lover of a management sim game or whatever you want, but i just love management games if they are finished, what good have to play a management game that has all the content undeveloped mate? you see, japanese people were doing great and still doing it, they sell you finished games and not halfdone shit, they sell you mad island with a lot of content, they sell you golbin burrow 1and2 with a lot of content and finished, with dlc's they sell you monster black market finished and adding things. they sell you monster gil club bisoft or whatever is called finished,

what do they sell you with mystwood manor? tease and blue balls, so fk off the sandbox these people do because i prefer a full episode of chapter 1 of a VN game than chapter 1 of a sandbox with all the choices being there but not developed
Oh look at that, I missed this mention. My bad, I didn't mean to gloss over it.

"just in the first section of the spoiler already stopped reading." -> Erm.. yeah. That's a choice, I guess? In that case, you completely missed on the reasoning why I found it to be a good game for it's goals. Now that last part is important and interesting.

I debated whether I would actually put time into an in-depth response knowing you didn't feel the need to learn about my opinion. I could use my time to do something fun, right? Then again, I realize people are reading along and you did ask me a question, which I was actually surprised by. I'll put my repsonse in a spoiler section again, so you can decide on whether it's worth it to you and anyone else.

That was a bit of a book there, apologies. It's an interesting thing and I will look into these games in the Unity category. I hope we can at the very least come to the agreement that the goals for the games are different, whereas I think Mystwood Manor succeeded in being enjoyable and you think it failed in being an enjoying management game. There is a way we can both be right and both types of games serve a different purpose. Again, thank you for educating us on your standpoint.

Amanda doesn't seem to be showing up in the mornings after I built her study. How many days until she shows up? I built it on Thursday, and she supposedly showed up on Friday, but she is still unavailable.

She did show up eventually, it just took two full weekdays.
It should have taken only 1 day for her to show up. She should have shown up the following weekday morning, once the renovation was completed. If it took her "two full weekdays", that sounds like a bug, or something going on with the save which would have caused that.

I think you're wasting your time with Sarton. That said, I wanted you to know that you didn't write all that for nothing. I did read it all (including your previous lengthy spoiler) and appreciated your thoughts ;)

Cheers.
