The game is really good.
Beautiful women, a simple story, no useless scribbles on the bodies.
I also appreciate he stopped the cosplay, his first battle outfit was really crap.

This game is really cute. I could tell the developer isn't a native speaker, but overall the characters are wholesome, adorable and it comes with a engaging story, albeit, hugely Solo Leveling inspired.

Though honestly with manhwa's sudden popularity surge I guess now we'll get as many pieces of media with korean tropes as we've gotten with japanese harem and shonen tropes for the last 20 yrs
What kind of tropes do you have in mind? I don't read Korean comics, so I have no idea if it's them or the game:
  1. No one seems to be traumatized by the massive catastrophe
  2. Ranks and levels and loot everywhere
  3. The MC is unfazed by the fact he's been possessed by a demon and treats him as a dog
  4. Everyone is attuned to their place in a global hierarchy and accepts it as the true measure of their character

The theme of the story; slayers, is actually a korean "hunter" trope. Another trope would be a hunter academy, and every trope that comes with it. (tournament, arrogant young master etc.) But that's about the extend of my knowledge, I don't read many korean novels, I read chinese and japanese novels more in general. Honestly the only novels that I recall are solo leveling and the first arc of infinite mana in the apocalypse.

Well, why would MC&Azazel think Noah's dangerous? There's no direct suggestion of that.
Everybody going into the portal in advance and the party not going together is something which is not seen as the norm.

And even if we chalk it down to MC believing in Noah cause he's relatively new to being the Slayer (despite ranking up kinda fast), Azazel has already got a previous experience of being betrayed by a human a one that he trusted (as shown in flashbacks).

So with Azazel, there doesn't even need to be a direct suggestion.
Also, adding to that, there's also the instance where Azazel took over MC's body and killed those 2 assassins (Phantoms, or what's their names which I don't remember) after MC got drunk with friends.
Hence Azazel should be the one who should be more suspicious and wary of this potential danger given what he knows.

So direct suggestion being there or not I don't think plays a factor here.

I don't know. In life, you suspect everyone, too?

No, but I'd be incredibly wary of trusting, especially a stranger (given that's who Noah is to MC & Azazel) much moreso if it's something out of norm & if I got literally backstabbed by someone I trust wholeheartedly (latter being Azazel's case, pretty much).
Now, if you say you'll still openly trust a stranger easily despite all that, I guess more power to you? :KEK:

Well yes he's a stranger, but he's also the MC's employer for the job. I wouldn't see any reason not to trust him I would think it's weird to go into the portal without the whole team but we don't know the guild protocols and how they work.

As I said previously, that reasoning applies to MC (being a newbie in the Slayer thing and all, and yes it extending to Guild stuff as well), but that doesn't work for Azazel.

And I will say it again, Azazel had a close relationship with a human ally who literally stabbed Azazel in the back.
Sure, Azazel wasn't too bitter about it, but given his experience he should have said something to MC like "something doesn't feel right here." giving MC a warning.
Azazel not saying anything about the "everyone already gone in the portal already" situation, dunno about you but definitely feels out of character for me.

But it is what it is.
Different strokes for different folks.

Dunno how but I'm missing the 3rd and 4th Hazel scenes as well as the newest Mia one despite (seemingly) choosing all the "correct" answers (i.e get the red heart and sound). Am I missing something obvious?
