oh jesus christ, I deleted it halfway through. Same mumbling idiot of a character as before. oh, uhhm, ah... for fuck's sake. Won't do that again to myself. It's sad because the story could have been interesting (from what I've seen) if not for the super annoying MC. Looks like the dev learned nothing.

But the question is, will he abandon this game (mostly) before it also gets to the character everyone wants?

Edit: Jfc started playing it, so far it's just Frank (but he's also Bella Swan), he's even internal monologuing about how she's "his friends little sister" so she'll be the carrot on the stick for this game I'm guessing

I'm still early in the update but so far it's not looking too good. I wanted to like this, the premise had me from the beginning... everything started great with Gabrielle... Delphine was smoking hot... oh no, wait... is that Eric McKenna or Frank Shavell as the MC? You have got to be fucking kidding me with the same self-doubting, insecure, but somehow knows what's better for the girl [Ellie] than believing his eyes & ears regarding her attraction to him...bullshit.

It's understandable and completely fine if some characters start off with weak and inexperienced actions, but grow stronger and more confident as the story progresses if that fits with events that happen. But it is really hard to handle playing as a character that "thinks" so cucky, pathetic, and dumb. It's really hard to relate to. It's like reading the mind of an insane person.

Not bad at all...to me the characters feel like a downgrade from Single Again, particularly brie...she reminds me of beth with an even worse hairstyle, the only character in Single again I didn't like the look of.

Ellie, aside from the nickname--getting BM flashes being totally honest is sexy af and makes up for it.

Story is off to a decent start, but like the last update in Single Again, it feels rushed somehow...I truly hope this doesn't become a constant thing in both games while trying to balance the two since I actually enjoy Single Again for its story, one of very few games (I assume this has something to do with that possibly crossing the line of taboo really soon), I would hate to see such a good game lost and another potentially good one at the same time to keep fans happy with timeframes...but thats none of my business, it's just my honest opinion of how I feel with this release and that last update in general and I actually mentioned it on the Single Again forum before I knew this game existed.

In any case, the screenshots don't do the game justice, I almost added to the complainers until I went and played it through fully at a realistic pace and realized it was much better than it looked at a glance and the renders are pretty good, even if I'm not keen on a couple of the models.

My only gripe is that nagging rush feeling that keeps hitting me when playing lately...and I've been playing Single Again for a really long time...my only suggestion is to take a step back and explain to your fans that you need more time to work on both projects rather than hurry to push out each release...a longer wait is better than a rushed story gone south IMO--but its just my opinion.

Either way I'll be keeping an eye on both now and I hope you find a good back and forth flow that keeps everyone happy and both games as good as the first one has been till now.

Anyone judging by the game page should give this a run if your a fan of Single Again, the style IS familiar and almost nostalgic (including the MC--I personally had no issue with frank), but to me thats a good thing.

It's still early, but i'm interested to see where this goes....best of luck with the dual game mission

To be frank i like this more than Single Again. The setting is up my alley and i'm liking the girls.

Ok, this wasn't bad, but I'm sad that the dev is taking time away from SA. If he is getting bored of SA, just finish it and move onto a new game rather than working on two different games.

So the reason he started this new game is because Patreon is really crackinging down on incest games, even if the characters aren't blood related. So they want to move SA over to being a SS exclusive, so they can continue the incest content (and maybe even change the story to being true incest.) But they also don't want to lose their Patreon following, and to keep that following, they have to have a (non-incest) game in production on Patreon.

You can see on this very page that I criticized the MC for his lack of agency when it comes to the ladies, but there is a way I can see CNG make it work. Just have the MC be unlucky in love for most of his life. Say he has tried and been rejected so many times that when two girls suddenly start throwing themselves at him, his brain just couldn't handle it. This is alien to him so he has trouble coming to terms with it. This way you can have the hesitation at the start but can also have him break out of it easily because there really is no reason for him to hold back.

Well, looks like I'll definitely be putting this one on the back burner and waiting for a while to see how it develops. Just from reading the couple of pages on the forum, I already feel the headache coming on if the MC from this game is similar to the MC from Single Again.

Also seeing if this game actually becomes a more stereotypical harem or just a poly-relationship that they call a harem, since SA definitely falls more along the lines of poly IMO.

This wasn't bad but the amount of dialog wasted just on his internal struggle about his co-worker he's known for several years was just absurd. It was about a third or more of the entire release talking about her and how he can't be with her while she throws herself at him repeatedly. Then his neighbor just forcing herself into a relationship with him because they've spent time watching a show together. WTF is that? Then all of a sudden she's like "Oh yeah, I'm also okay if you bang other women. This was the fastest start to an agreed harem I think I've seen in a VN.

Hillside has ruined MCs model for me.

Why would "canon" be calling Sera a devil, when calling her beautiful, results in you getting your clothes back, instead of being left in the park naked, and endearing yourself to her? Maybe being naked sets up a conflict or funny scene, and that's fine, but it seems counterintuitive. That's the one thing on the WT I had a problem with, so I have a few iterations, a couple of which leave you clothed at the end of the chapter.

I guess calling her a demon would be most normal / standard / expected response in that situation. Some red creature with glowing eyes jumps at you in the middle of the night in the park... most people would not have a "you're beautiful" as a first thought that comes to their mind.

Personally, I called her a demon because I thought maybe that would make her angry and leave me alone, but it clearly didn't work as planned
