A question to those who've played 0.2... Is there any sign of the MC "manning up", or is it staying much the same?

A question to those who've played 0.2... Is there any sign of the MC "manning up", or is it staying much the same?
My frustration with the MC from SA is that he lives on the fence and always needs someone else to push him off it to one side or the other. And just like in SA, women are attracted to him for no discernable reason, so that she forgives him without batting an eye doesn't surprise me.Granted he does apologize and get together with her, but I'm still pissed he was an intentionally hurtful jackass. I'm sorry but your issues don't give you the right to be that mean. She may just have let it go but I wouldn't have. Not until after I laid him the fuck out anyways.
Ah... I quit in 0.1 with the fake choice about needing time to process what happened with her. Often games are good at hiding that a choice is fake, but this one was flagrant.Hedi drove him home and
No thanks... It's a shame because I think Hedi is a great-looking character, but I don't like the history between them. Sure, it's a misunderstanding on the MC's part, but that's a kind of breach of trust that's difficult to get over, even if you rationally know that exclusivity was never promised or agreed to.so they can keep fucking.
Wow, it gets better... One of the LIs is a killer, and the MC would've been her victim if it weren't for plot armor... Sexy!MC is special in a way since he survived the bonding without training.
And just like in SA, the MC earns nothing and is given everything. Too bad.Hecate gave him a blessing for his dick, gifted him one of her servants and plans to arrange a bigger home for him and his harem.
That I get. I get Frank. His former step daughters and his adopted daughter? Of course he struggles with accepting that. Same with a girl he knew as a child who is the same age as his children. You may be used to porn game logic, but if you're trying to write it real Frank struggling makes sense. My frustration with the MC from SA is that he lives on the fence and always needs someone else to push him off it to one side or the other.
Frank is a guy who married his best friend and adopted her daughter after she was abandoned and vilified by the father of her child. He was a loving and doting husband and father to her and her daughter. He was then a loving and doting husband and father to a woman who never deserved him and her children, one of which actively hated him for "replacing her dad", but he never stopped being a loving and doting father to her even after he caught her mom cheating. And you think there is no reason women would be attracted to a guy like that? And just like in SA, women are attracted to him for no discernable reason
No, I prefer story-first games, and this doubt is something I understand. That I get. I get Frank. His former step daughters and his adopted daughter? Of course he struggles with accepting that. Same with a girl he knew as a child who is the same age as his children. You may be used to porn game logic, but if you're trying to write it real Frank struggling makes sense.
I wasn't trying to imply that his daughters love him for no good reason. But everyone else? He shows an apartment and gets flirted with, or he goes to the gym or to a bar... That's porn logic in a game that otherwise wants the player to take it seriously. And you think there is no reason women would be attracted to a guy like that?
Frank is only on the fence with women he considered daughters. He had no hesitation fucking the bisexual in a lesbian marriage (if you chose it), and has one night stands throughout the game with Darla and Maddison without hesitation. Now that he has accepted his sexual relationship with Becca, Lilly and Meiko, he initiates encounters as much as they do. The only girl he has any sort of conflict over in the story is Abby.My frustration with the MC from SA is that he lives on the fence and always needs someone else to push him off it to one side or the other. And just like in SA, women are attracted to him for no discernable reason, so that she forgives him without batting an eye doesn't surprise me.
You quit in 0.1, yet you are still here.Ah... I quit in 0.1 with the fake choice about needing time to process what happened with her. Often games are good at hiding that a choice is fake, but this one was flagrant.
You can't blame Hedi for the MC's misunderstanding. That said, if you were angry and felt you were being cheated on, would you stay in contact with her after ending things? No thanks... It's a shame because I think Hedi is a great-looking character, but I don't like the history between them. The MC being a bitch and avoiding speaking to her for a year doesn't help either.
Well, she is a demon. They don't hide the fact that there are demons in this game. Their true forms are on the main menu when you click Start. You are surprised a demon tried to kill someone?Wow, it gets better... One of the LIs is a killer, and the MC would've been her victim if it weren't for plot armor... Sexy!
Well, one of the girls he put the effort in to gain her affection, even if that was not his intention. And just like in SA, the MC earns nothing and is given everything. Too bad.
Yeah, and I asked about people's experience in 0.2, and likely will again in 0.3 and 0.4.You quit in 0.1, yet you are still here.
Who said anything about me blaming Hedi? It's clear the MC is still hurt by what happened. He still avoids her, and he's a bitch for it because avoidance doesn't let him deal with his emotions. So when the choice about needing more time/thinking about it appears and immediately gets turned around, yeah, that's disappointing. You can't blame Hedi for the MC's misunderstanding. That said, if you were angry and felt you were being cheated on, would you stay in contact with her after ending things?
See, comments like these just mean you're looking for ways to twist my words. Same for your remark about Hedi. You're reading things I didn't write.Well, she is a demon. They don't hide the fact that there are demons in this game. Their true forms are on the main menu when you click Start. You are surprised a demon tried to kill someone?
"OH MY GAWD ELLIE WE CANT I KEEP TELLIN YEWW WE BREAKIN DA LAWZ OF THE UNIVERZE YOU'RE LIKE MY LIL SISTER"

What struck me in 0.1 was that this shadow of a person somehow managed to open his own business. I don't know a single self-employed person who isn't a go-getter to some extent. You need a certain drive and confidence to take those risks, even more with a physical location and employees.Idk its just really annoying lmao. Everything else is great! But you can REALLY TELL its the Single Again dev. I knew what I was getting into but jesus christ I didn't think it was going to be somehow worse.
Welp hes a nepobaby, so guess hes more of a getter than a goerWhat struck me in 0.1 was that this shadow of a person somehow managed to open his own business. That he would rather watch another episode with Brie than make sure he gets enough sleep to run his business efficiently speaks to a certain depression and loneliness. But then you would expect him to overindulge and get his basic needs (companionship and intimacy) met instead of fighting it every step of the way.
