They're not the worst at updating *side glares at Offcuts*, they're just not great with communicating at what's happening.
Keep a couple things in mind:
- Each update tends to add something for most if not all the girls. When you have 7 main female leads (Esther, Fanora, Naira, Velle, Nefari, Jade and Iris), and over a dozen side characters, that's dozens of events to create. That takes time to script out, develop, render and code together into something that isn't spaghetti.
- Unless the two developers are making money hand over fist and have moved to only working on the game, we're still in the middle of a pandemic and people still need to earn a living. Or, just as likely, they have people living with them who don't know what they're making and are home more often, meaning less time to work on the porn game.
I'm not defending the time its taking to make the newest update, but it'll be done when its done.
I will also say that I do wish the developers would be more communicative with their community. They don't need to be huge updates, just a couple of sentences here and there, keeping fans aware. They have a twitter account they barely use, which would really solve their communication problem.
