I love blonds myself, beached or not, hot af. Also love Pink and Blue hair, Red, Black and Brunette babe'e too; it's whats under the hair that matters.

Are updates always this far apart? I can see it with daz and the render times but this is HS and it's still been what, five months?

They're not the worst at updating *side glares at Offcuts*, they're just not great with communicating at what's happening.

Keep a couple things in mind:
- Each update tends to add something for most if not all the girls. When you have 7 main female leads (Esther, Fanora, Naira, Velle, Nefari, Jade and Iris), and over a dozen side characters, that's dozens of events to create. That takes time to script out, develop, render and code together into something that isn't spaghetti.
- Unless the two developers are making money hand over fist and have moved to only working on the game, we're still in the middle of a pandemic and people still need to earn a living. Or, just as likely, they have people living with them who don't know what they're making and are home more often, meaning less time to work on the porn game.

I'm not defending the time its taking to make the newest update, but it'll be done when its done.

I will also say that I do wish the developers would be more communicative with their community. They don't need to be huge updates, just a couple of sentences here and there, keeping fans aware. They have a twitter account they barely use, which would really solve their communication problem.

I get all that except bringing the "pandemic" in to it, if there is a job you can do from home or separate teams it's making a VN. I'm just saying almost half a year without and update for a game that uses HS even with 7 girls is a long time.

Not necessarily. There are others who could better explain it than me.

I'm not saying that the pandemic is the reason, because frankly, we've all been dealing with it.

What I have been saying is that the Jikei team need to talk to their community more.

Yeah, I've read some of the Dev updates and they never really keep you updated with anything substantial just bits and pieces of what will be in it. Nothing about how far along they are or what still needs to be done.
