One thing about the demo, Mythies. It would mean so much to me if everyone (that can) could download the Steam demo and just let it run for one hour. It can be in the background while you do whatever else. That will boost me in the visibility of the Next Fest and thus get more people interested in the game.

You mention St. Louis and also Native American sites: look up Cahokia.
It was a major settlement area - considered a "city" - just across the Mississippi from St. Louis in the 11th-14th centuries. I don't have the full context for your commentary, but that's a place that would be on your list. Also look up the Anasazi culture that existed in what is now the Southwestern part of the United States (four corners area is about the center of it) and are considered the precursors to the Maya, Inca and Aztec cultures. You can find info on others, but those are the ones I've heard and read most about due to personal geography and what was taught in the various Social Studies, World History, US History and Texas History classes I had growing up.
And any time you see one of those "why don't they teach this map" spam posts on FB, understand that it is entirely bullshit being controlled by non-Native American folks trying to cause grief. Native American history and culture was part of many classes I had in Junior High and High School. If you live here and didn't learn about it it's because you didn't pay attention.

First, stop shaming me for my lack of academic retention.
Second, what little I do retain is mostly about west-coast groups, like the Ohlone.
Lastly, I had that thought vomit based on the game naming Baltimore the supernatural capital of U.S. and it's explanation about nexus locations. And yes, I had to confirm some east-coast places (I would have mixed up Charlotte and Charleston if I hadn't ...).
