Also, I'd like to point out that Rainsex sounds funny to me. Like if someone didn't know the context and was trying to figure out what Rainsex was. It sounds like some kind of fetish or something.
Rainsex, which is fucking in the rain. Oh! It must be the porn version of Singing in the rain!

... and now I learned that there actually is a porn version of Singing in the rain:
It's like, sorry, but I don't have to be a chef to know when one serves me a dog turd in a bun and calls it a hot dog. You can appreciate (or criticize) tons of things without being able to do those things yourself. I don't have to be a musician to enjoy music. I don't have to be able to code and develop an entire video game to have opinions about video games.
While this is true, to be able to give interesting and useful appreciation or criticism you actually need to be knowledgeable about the subject. If I don't know anything about food, I'll only know that the dog turn in a bun tastes like shit, not why it tastes like shit. Or may even think that is how a hot dog is supposed to taste. Same with music or video games.

Also the nature of the critique, there's an oft repeated refrain here of "too little too slow" and imo if you're not coding a game yourself, you can shut the fuck up with that critique. Even if you are also a dev not everyone has the same time/skills/hardware to dedicate to this so once again, you can shut the fuck up with that critique.

Also "I don't like x" with no further exposition isn't a critique, and that's a pretty common thing on these boards too.

But like I said in another thread, I'm only following threads of games I like, so people who feel the need to clutter threads with complaints annoy me in the same way I'd be annoyed if passersby stopped to inform me that they disliked something about my house.

I've taken up residence here I don't give two shits about what you dislike... I am also a curmudgeon, and have been my whole life.

I think every game should get 2 threads, a bitch about it thread for those who need to track mud, and a thread for those who don't have beef and just wanna bullshit about the game.

Or this could all be trying to solve the crime through a narcissistic lens, and Lisa's connection to us has nothing to do with why she was killed - with all the tangential complications just coincidences likely triggered by the fact that we're a Beacon.
Yes, don't forget that the murder of Lisa could fuel a war between the Mages and the Vampires.
So the murder could be the work of someone who want to bring chaos.
In that case, the Void Cult (if I remember the name correctly) are the primary suspect.
And B seems to have had some connection with that cult...

But, don't let us fooled.

Just to be clear I personally do not believe Lisa's death has much, if anything, to do with the protagonist (especially their romantic feelings), unless it's Becki, because then I feel like it has to do with their mutual past in one way or another.

Most possible suspects have a motive, it's just a question of how strong a motive we believe it to be (and if they're evil enough to kill over it). But means and opportunity are also things worth considering. How many of our suspects would have had the ability to kill her in a way that apparently destroyed her soul and made the death look like natural causes? If Tara had done it (for example), Lisa's body probably would have been more mauled by a giant wolf of full of shotgun pellets.
I agree.
And unless there are some other kinds of magic we are not aware of, it takes a soulsculptor to remove Lisa soul like it was done.
Sure, Lisa could have kill herself. Bot in this case, how her body will ended far from where she dies?
So Cecil become the prime suspect...

Mythos Chapter 4.1.0 Public Release!

It's here!

(Finally! I am an honest thief, I waited for the official release.)

Though if I could get away with making non-adult Mythos stories I'd be happier, of course.
What's stopping you from writing the sexless version in a book?
man you need to stop with the mindfucks :ROFLMAO: First Lisa appears out of nowhere, then she doesn't remember shit, then she's just like poof, gone, then she is back again. Fucking awesome.
I agree. I also read a story: Juliet died, then rose again, then Romeo died, then Juliet died again... I want to talk to the writer of this shit!

Ok gotta say this update was dissapointingly short for how long it took to get here, it only just hits about a full day in-game but only 6-7 unique parts before it ends.
'Damned Dutchmen,' raged John the Bloody Ass, the notorious pirate captain, 'there's hardly any booty! The honest sea robber starves to death? But I'll show them! Never again will I plunder their wretched ships! I'll go over to Spanish waters! That'll teach them for life that I'm not to be trifled with!

While this is true, to be able to give interesting and useful appreciation or criticism you actually need to be knowledgeable about the subject.
I can't lay eggs, but I know when they're rotten. (I obviously don't appreciate something I don't like in the first place. That will not be a criticism, but a private opinion.)

A few other devs I know have self published books and sold them on Amazon.

Sierra Lee has a couple on there connected to her game, Last Soveriegn.

While we might all be pervy boys and girls i'm sure a modern supernatural fantasy tale would appeal more to the average person. Just a thought to toss around.

Something to look into in many years when we're satisfied and may be happy to let you do other things.

Okay, I may be showing my inability to tell the difference between certain daz characters, but is it possible that I saw a certain burger joint hostess having lunch in an upstate NY diner near an art college in an Alternate World?
