Is anyone else having an issue with input lag? Whenever I try to move I end up stuck going in one direction for a while. This is making it very difficult to play. Before anyone asks, no it is not a computer issue. It seems to be a problem with the game itself.
having the same issue

Has anyone tried an SL 1 run without the drop stat boosters? Seems like I am always relying on poison spray/insect stinger DoT and throwing knife spam and was wondering if there was a better way.
Sl1 without stat buffs at diff 0 is alrealy finished by me, and its honestly quite fun to be honest. Your only option are not the dots and you can deal quite the hefty damage. Stacking elixir, golden sword and party time with buffs and a insta resin, then swapping to use twin blossom ability and changing into a higher atk hammer, is one of the combos you can do. I haven't tried diff 9 but I might see if its even possible sometime.

Do you guys have anything special going around in your pc's? my playtester team was consisted of 8 people and no one has told me an issue like this, send me a message on discord (Wlafy), I would like to learn the deeper root of this problem myself.

Ooh the weapon swaps apply the last swapped weapon's stats like Black Souls? I'll have to find more gear and try out some things, glad to know that it is possible to SL 1 on the base difficulty. D9 seems too far away from me right now.

Might I also recommend my]r and Black Souls? Both games with artsytles even rougher then this, but that are both excellent games.
Rando question you probs can't answer, but since you seem to know these games with rough art styles, figured I'd ask since I've been trying to track this old one down.

Looking for a game (rpgmaker I think) which was post apocalypse, main character is a faceless soldier that has something like branches poking out of one arm and a rifle, wakes up from a stasis pod (with numerous failed pods around him) by a massive tree where some earth-chan girl tells him the world is over and he has to help her gather mana to fix it. Story is basically their journey to try and gather said mana in an empty world with nothing other than these amorphous monsters around. Features like 4 animal girls who are literally evolved animals that can't speak, and an odd mechanic where the earth girl has an enormous MP bar (like tens of thousands while the soldier only has like 100 mp and will game over if he runs out, morphing into a tree) that's half full at the start and you have to literally gather MP fruits to fill it, endings being based on choices made and how successful you were at restoring that MP bar and not losing it/using it in combat. Several early game overs possible. It's a very old game but one I've been meaning to find again and hoping you might know it.

This game is the work of a solo developer, someone who has put an immense amount of time and effort into creating this work yet remains almost entirely unknown and underrated. Their dedication, struggles, and persistence often go unnoticed, but it’s clear from their messages that they’ve poured everything into this game.
This is an RPG maker game with art that's worse than the sketches of an 8-year old. It's not that deep.

I believe this is the game that you're looking for, however it's a WolfRPG game. I've checked to be sure, and it's still available on this site. I've played it before, but I only recall three animal girls, but there was a human. Best of luck to you, this game was hell for me.

so? the art might not be great but that doesn't mean the dev didn't put effort into it, or that the result wasn't good
a similar case would be dark souls 1 and 2 which were universally praised even if the art was (initially, emmm did improve between 1 and 2) initially not that great

I'll be honest, I am a sucker for this intentionally rough sketch style and wouldn't ever even give BS1+2 a chance had it not been for said style.

Yeah that was it, beat it before but I'd forgotten a lot of the details of the game (like it being WolfRPG and not RPGmaker lol, was trying not to mention the other human in case you hadn't played it since she's mid game spoiler) and felt like going back to it for nostalgia sake, thanks!
